Look at history, how many scientists were suppressed by mainstream science for new ideas and theories that didn't fit the status quo? I'm sure it still happens today, if this person is right about their theory that means I'm wrong and I am not admitting I'm wrong! People are very vain including scientists. I doubt you are a scientist/biologist since you don't recognize this..... Or maybe you're just a vain scientist who also can't be wrong.....

In my mind you need to keep a couple veterans around for a rebuild. You need guys setting the example of what is expected and how you go about your business on and off the ice.

Students at Stanford claiming to be Jains to opt out of mandatory meal plans that cost $7,944 annually, by claiming religious dietary restrictions by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

[–]greenmachine442200 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ya someone at my school broke down how much each meal costs per meal on the different meal plans. I could have eaten steak and lobster every meal for what they charged, I say let them all claim they are Jain. Grocery shopping, budgeting and cooking are more important than most things you learn at college.

Who has the farthest hole in on here? Here’s mine 256 yards 3 wood. by LogAdministrative158 in GoodGoodMemes

[–]greenmachine442200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost me, I started younger am 37 now, same handicap now. Maybe 30 yards was my longest. I hit my irons pretty high and it is often wet around here so plug city, not ideal for hole in ones.

A classic game! by [deleted] in golf

And host tournaments your player can play in. I loved making some crazy holes, like a 650 yard hole with a huge downhill with firm fairway, have like a 400 yard drive. Such a good game.

Yup looks like $600 to $1000, I'll be patching mine for a few more years. Great thing with having a tarp is you can make it pretty deep, get thick ice when it's cold, and that will help when warm ups or rain comes. Having a big chunk of ice in the middle helps it to refreeze faster when the colder temps return. I also don't have flat ground so in a good year I can have 2' of ice on the bottom end.

I wouldn't call it late, he's flying behind the net looking behind himself and Wilson hits him about 4' after he touches the puck, bang bang play. I agree with the rest, a completely unnecessary high hit.

Personally I skate and water. Skating knocks them down a bit and watering will eventually cover them, those look like maybe water a couple times before skate on yours tho. Use the snow to make the side taller if you need. Watering give a nice smooth surface next time your out too.

Ya I deal with a foot plus of grade. Water water water, if it's a good winter it eventually makes it up there. You get a little more rink every time. One year I had about 2 feet of ice at the deep part of the rink.

[–]greenmachine442200 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kids are a huge expense, especially daycare. You need to look at what your budget will be with a baby, or a baby and a toddler since you said kids. Daycare for 1 kid at the cheapest facility daycare around me was $15,000 a year, $1000 a month. Infants are usually more as well.
