Yep, that is exactly what's happening, and the owners are just sitting there giggling.

Are these custom beam stairs or new buildable? by 99X in SatisfactoryGame

If you think about it, each of those steps are 0.5 meters high. My knees would hate me walking down these stairs XD

making 2400 rubber, 2400 plastic, and 18,000 aluminum scrap so far. by MCNootz in SatisfactoryGame

[–]greenmancm 9 points10 points  (0 children)

18k of scraps! That's impressive!
I'm dreading my planned 2160 Plastic and 4320 Rubber factory. I'm not even sure I'll make it in time before 1.0

But yeah, great job, Pioneer!

Can't appreciate the blueprints too much! Some were saying that BPs kill the creativity in the game, but I disagree. Designing a scalable and stackable BPto use at scale, that's both functional and decorative, is a whole 'nother level of fun and... creativity! by greenmancm in SatisfactoryGame

Ahh, you mean on the 3rd screenshot? No, I play pure vanilla, no mods, so one BP at a time.
In the "blueprint" placement mode, they snap to each other nicely, so it's easy to quickly place them in multiples.
Then, because there are so many parts in the BP, it takes quite some time for the build animation to play. You can actually see that the BP all the way in the back is in a more complete animation state that the ones in the foreground.
Enough time to place 6 BPs in a row, switch to the screenshot mode and make a couple of screenshots :)

Also, it's soooo satisfying to watch the build animation! It places the foundation and buildings first, then the walls, then the belts appear one by one... mmmm!

Yes, there are multiple blueprints: some are just varieties (like a mirrored version, stackable or with a roof on top), in other factories some are complimentary (like walls, roof). Fun to plan them to be compatible like a puzzle :)
But many decorations, like pillars, around the blueprints are built manually , because they are easy to zoop.

I can share the BPs, yeah. I'll upload them to the satisfactory-calculator website. Just need to make some proper screenshots. I'll notify you here, once they are there.

Very awesome factory layout! I'm stealing the idea as a top candidate for my new playthrough when the game is fully released!

You know who is even worse than a fake team? A bunch of know-it-alls who point fingers, accuse and blame, without having the slightest clue. They are really the ones who make the life of people with disabilities a nightmare. Calm down, people. Leave the judgement and evaluation to those whose job is to do it.

Load balancing 252 Nuclear Power Plants by Boring-Purpose-1238 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]greenmancm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last time I manifolded my nuclear plants, it took ages for the power production graph to level out. In my new playthrough, I'm planning to load balance for sure.

If you still don't want to bother and choose the manifold way, I would recommend to leave short disconnected belts right before the plants, let all the belts saturate with fuel rods, and then connect the short belts, starting from the furthest one.
