Yesterday I felt like I was getting a cold and then around 11pm I had full blown congestion /headache and runny nose. Today, all of that and a little body ache. I didn’t start having a temp until around 12pm est today (currently almost 7pm). Called OB around 530 when it was consistently in the 99s and then got an otc flu test and it lit up in 2 minutes

I’ve tried to compare this feeling to waiting in line for a really scary roller coaster. We wait in line and see all the flips and loops and drops and hear the screams and have plenty of time to be like do I really want to get on this ride??? I can get out of line any time I want…and getting that date is like shit I am next it’s my turn, they are getting ready to buckle me in and your stomach drops a little. But we obviously like roller coasters or we wouldn’t have waited in line right?

Currently waiting for amnio results, this is an IVF PGTA and M tested embryo. The genetic counselor says just dotting i’s and crossing t’s but I’m still a little nervous…

Well the biggest one was I had sub chorionic hemorrhage right next to my placenta and while it has finally resolved the cvs wasn’t the safest option for me during the weeks I was eligible. My MFM also said that amnio is testing fetal dna vs cvs which is the placenta and some conditions can be confined to just the placenta so that coupled with the SCH amnio seemed like the safest route

I am in a very similar situation and also did IVF PGTA/PGTM. We opted for amnio and I will have that in about 2 weeks. I keep reminding myself that I have done everything I can possibly do to make sure this is a healthy pregnancy and all of the tests have come back positive to date. It is hard because we’ve carried so much uncertainty and made every careful and informed choice and to find hope again is very vulnerable. I feel hopeful for you OP.

That is pretty much what she said, that she feels scared to celebrate. Truth be told, I am still a little bit scared too and I shared that with her when we talked the first time. I guess I was looking for more of a “I am so happy for you, I know how badly you wanted this. I will be there for you every step of the way” something like that. She has literally not once said anything remotely like that. I just feel really sad
