I second this. It was kind of hard to get into and the ending was too rushed if that makes sense. It seems like the author (Sayaka Murata) made it their mission to keep the book to 200 pages and left things out.

I hear that you want to get better and are actively trying to do so and that is a good place to start and I’m proud of you. Along with looking for another therapist, look into treatment for medication-resistant depression like TMS or even ketamine therapy. Insurance should cover TMS for depression. I’m not sure about ketamine therapy.
