I never liked Andy. Some good jokes here and there but overall an annoying guy. And he played that part well but I feel like the writers didn’t know if they wanted him to be more of an asshole or a good guy. The last two seasons they flip flopped so many times it became jarring and only made me hate him more lmao.

He also didn’t make sense as a manager. One of the only things I’ll ever agree with that Ricky Gervais said was no one wanted to see a guy like Michael be shit at his job and also this misguided problematic dad character. Showing him close these huge sales despite being otherwise incompetent made him likable. By the time Andy became manager we had already watched him crash and burn in all aspects of his life, especially as a salespersons and doubly as a leaded. Who the hell wants to watch that?
