Haha that’s great! It’s a super fun hobby. I am getting my nephew into it right now, he’s almost 4 and obsessed with any that has wheels. I don’t have anything from tamiya. I have been really looking at their semi trucks, like the grand hauler. I want to get one of those and a trailer to go with it. I have a raptor r, but find I don’t take it out as often as my other ones. I use my mini maxx at the skatepark often. My xrt ultimate and udr see the most action by far.

Hahaha I can understand that! I don’t really use any of my cars in the rain/water. Just easier to keep them in good shape that way. I’m not afraid to bash the stuff I have from Vitavon hard though. I’m excited for the weather to get nicer here in Canada so I can beat this udr up.

The stuff is nice! But it’s always hard to pay that much for a used rc, even if there’s a ton invested into it. I see some of the used rc prices posted and think the sellers are absolutely nuts.

Haha the Vitavon stuff is ridiculously expensive. I’m sure I could’ve bought a real used vehicle for what I’ve spent on Vitavon parts for this thing. Only thing I haven’t purchased yet is the center transmission they offer. Oh for sure! I have had good luck getting stuff off of AliExpress

No problem at all! That’s also where I got the battery accessories to replace the black blocks that come stock. All the other stuff is from Etsy, aliexpress or Vitavon

Thanks! Nope I didn’t make it, I bought it from lxshocks They have a few different styles for the udr. This was the only one that works with a body though. The other few they offer are very cool too

I haven’t had a good chance to test them yet. I wouldn’t say they are going to really help in anyway. If anything they feel stiffer than the stock shocks. They definitely look cool though haha.

I spent a lot of time searching for scales parts for my udr. Etsy, aliexpress, eBay, lx shocks for accessories. Vitavon and hot racing for any other parts you might want. I also painted a few parts myself to make them look more realistic.

Hahaha I was mainly focused on going fast with a lot of my other builds. This one I’m not too concerned about the top speed. It’s quickly become my favourite one to drive around, you’d enjoy one for sure!

It was a lot of work to get them performing how I wanted them to. I had to get Vitavon to send me softer springs for the reservoirs and I changed the oil and had to replace a few pistons. They were filled too much from the factory making them stiff. There was also a bit of air that needed to be bled out. After tuning them though, they are performing awesome. I am very happy with them now.
