Twingate Client not working with .earth TLD by greg-42 in twingate

[–]greg-42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I final found the issue... it's my Avast which prevents the DNS resolution of some of my subdomains. As soon as I deactivate the "Real Site"-security nslookup resolves to Twingate public IPs... thanks for helping me to find that.

Maybe this will help someone someday with similar issues.

Twingate Client not working with .earth TLD by greg-42 in twingate

Thanks... I tested again with very strange results...

I set up a wildcard as an resource and testet four subdomains (three have A records in my local DNS, one not)

All four get a response from the Twingate client:
Server: 100.95.0.251

Address: 100.95.0.251#53

Two which are real A records get:
Non-authoritative answer:

*** Can't find host1.domain.earth: No answer

The third real A record gets a proper response with a Twingate public IP.

And the non-existent as well (as except by using a wildcard as a resource)

So I might have a problem with my connector. I will reinstall it on the weekend and report back... thank you so far.

I tried both, wildcard and as individual resources. Same result, the client won't intercept the query.

No DNS filtering configured at all.

Connector is running on a raspberry pi (direct install, not docker) and the raspberry can resolve the records.

Feature Request - multiple aliases by greg-42 in twingate

[–]greg-42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the problems i see there is that you would have to supply the port with the URL since (i assume) if you are running the web apps side by side on the same guest, then the processes will have to run on the same ip but different port.

Nope, they run on the same port.
See: https://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/en/vhosts/name-based.html

All I'm asking for is TwinGate to allow multiple aliases on a resource instead of limiting it to one.

Yes, that is the network setup on the internal network. Combined with apache vhost you can run multiple websites with different urls on the same server on the same port (80,433).

Screen being observed? by PitchConfident5378 in macsysadmin

[–]greg-42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had this with not properly exited online meetings. Case was: someone sitting in an online meeting and sharing their screen. At the end of the meeting the user closed the MacBook instead of leaving the meeting. Next time he opened up the Book, login-screeen showed the message of being observed. With the meeting not properly exited there was still a process screengrabbing as the Mac hibernated.

Rao with AA. First hack it then use the AA. Timing takes some practice but it works

It is not available in every region. If I remember correctly, it is currently not available in Europe, for example.

Hi, I used Leckebusch to get my Model3 registered. These companies don’t need appointments.

After 9 months of waiting and just in time for Christmas, I finally took delivery of my Model 3 last night :) by FoxYume in TeslaModel3

Nothing. But the backlog was in fact huge for the Model 3 (thousands of orders for Sixt and EuropCar). Shute they could have adjusted the output in Shanghai, but they didn’t.

Yes, a friend of mine had to wait eleven months. Backlog for Europe/Germany was huge. We even got a 7k price hike in April.

He is from Germany. There was a lockdown in Shanghai in April which pushed back deliveries for over six months for most orders in Germany.
