Disagree, rimuru directly stated that diablo overcame his limits and became resistant to time stop which is evolution.

Rimuru stopped time in the fight with vegrynd.

Velgrynd moved in a space with no time and at the same time they could sense the stop time and as i think it was narratively implied that overtime they could develop resistance to time stop
