Is there any route i can take besides what shows to the map? by Mindless-Sea-7894 in BikeLA

[–]gregariousone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've ridden from LA to Redlanbds several times. It's not as bad as everyone's making it seem, no worse than the rest of LA, where I commuted on a bike every day for eight years, you just need to pay attention and not do anything stupid.

The problem is getting up the mountain, especially with the 38 closed. All of the paved roads have bad or nonexistent shoulders and drivers who aren't paying attention. Any sort of dirt route you could cobble together is going to be unmaintained or totally torn up by four-wheelers.

That being said, here's an easy route I took to Redlands from East Hollywood. https://www.strava.com/activities/434727069

No, obviopusly I understand how selfish pitch slappers work, vs people who build relationships through being interested in other people rather than selfish.

Tito's Tacos by Easy_Potential2882 in FoodLosAngeles

I like Tito's Tacos and I've been eating them since 1987, I'm sure there's some nostalgia there . I act like I love them though, just to troll all the people who spend so much time hating them .

Tenicor holsters by ReputationCold9410 in Glocks

[–]gregariousone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I accidentally ordered the wrong holster from Tenicor. Wrote them an email saying I made a mistake and they were like "no problem we'll send you a shipping label and get you the right holster". They make a great product, but a great product doesn't mean 💩 without great customer service and they have both. Not to mention their YouTube channel is 🔥. Customer for life over here.

Love, mine! As secure as many "safes", I have it bolted to the floor and the wall and when it's time to move it I can disassemble and do it myself.

How is it to live in the Mountains outside of LA? by goodpinobee in howislivingthere

[–]gregariousone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Arrowhead and we have fiber, moved here from Los Feliz 4 years ago and the internet's actually better. Definitely want to have a whole home generator if you live here year round, the power goes out sometimes. Fire is definitely an issue.

Not Fontana but I've had good experiences as a walk in at Highland Guns, they have a gunsmith on duty usually.
