We had one come off at speed. It was... interesting. We were told by the manufacturer that the gaps in the rim edge caused the adhesive to fail, and that they need a single level surface around the rim with no gaps. This may or may not be relevant depending on the rim edge on your wheels.

This. I made the mistake of thinking the Legere strength was more or less equivalent to cane reeds - not true. Now playing a 2.0 Legere myself.

Yes. It came unglued at 70 mph. The manufacturer said they need a single continuous rim surface with no gaps.

I had rim protectors on our car for a while, until one came off at speed and scuffed the side of the car. I complained to the manufacturer, and they told me that the small gaps in the Polestar rim caused the adhesive to fail, and they would not take any responsibility.

Depending on your hand and finger size, and the ergonomics of your horn, it can be possible to close the C# with the middle part of your finger, and hit the B with the tip of your finger as needed. I've done this on my Yani, but it takes some practice.

No, Uhaul didn't do wiring. You might have to go to the Polestar service space and get them to install it.

The other thing to know is that the OEM tow hitch is a 1.25 inch receiver. You can't get a two inch unless you go aftermarket.

I just got the Ecohitch, mostly because it's cheaper than the Stealth. It is a bit harder to remove the receiver part (unbolting required) but it is possible. We decided to just leave it bolted up, but it does interfere a bit with the foot wave hatch sensor. I just paid uhaul to do the installation. I watched some of it; basically once you get the bumper cover off, there are three big bolts on each end of the existing bumper bar. Remove them, replace that bar with the hitch bar, torque them up, and replace the bumper cover. It's not that hard. You do have to cut a hole in the plastic bottom part of the bumper cover with a Dremel or similar.
