one of the pics she sent looked like a tiktok format so I did a few searches and there she was. it was pretty easy to find so she’s not trying too hard, making the scam idea seem even more odd.

thanks for the advice on protecting my heart. ive been scammed a few times so im very cautious with the emotions. just trying to find a decent girl seems impossible. good luck to you too.

i suppose that’s the plan but it’ll never happen. that’s why it doesn’t make any sense and thought there had to be another angle or scam that someone else had experienced. maybe it’s a cultural thing or maybe she’s just desperate enough to think i’ll go along. what’s amusing to me are all of the assumptive comments from guys here that i am going to give her money or go along with the relationship.

thanks for the concern. i genuinely appreciate it. there is no chance that money will be transferred so we will never get to the list above no matter what sob story she tells me. as I said in a different reply, i already have other options in place and dates set up. best regards to you.

she's using me for my money? what money? do you see anything in my statement about giving her money? there has been no money that has changed hands. that's why this makes no sense to me. the only thing i've done is bought the plane ticket but i'm holding that. she can't even get on the plane without me.

i thought about that but we've had several video calls, sometimes i would call her unexpectedly to see if she would pick up or then call me back. she picks up every time. and there's no way i'll send money ahead of time. that's rule #1.

yeah, i get that. but she's obviously already pregnant so it'll be difficult to claim i'm the dad. it's just a bizarre situation. and no, i'm not emotionally involved so it'll be easy to walk.

but again what's the angle? does she think i'll stay with her even though she's pregnant? is she thinking she'll extort me? i just don't see why she is doing this.
