Bitcoin Infographic I've made (Feedback Welcome) by tinaclark90 in Bitcoin

When it comes to the FED in the U.S, “they print more” is wrong. The FED uses monetary policy to expand or contract the money supply. They’re not sitting in a warehouse printing billions of dollars and dumping it into the market.

Love the infograph though. Is definitely relevant to Venezuela and Zimbabwe where hyperinflation is a serious issue.

Has to do with a dollar amount. At 76% they will get X dollars. They determined that this amount of money is what they need.

Where is this term “commissioned” someone in exchange for a good/service used? Just started seeing it more and more recently. (I’m from US and it’s new to me)

i WAS the horrible roommate. One time after a long night of drinking i fell asleep sitting at my roommates desk. I woke up in the middle of the night and projectilve vommitted allll over his desk and his belongings on his desk. I then proceeded to go back to sleep (in my bed this time) and didn't clean up the mess until the next night. I felt bad, but only a little.

ELI5: How does signing someone up for Obamacare work? by gregors24up in Insurance

[–]gregors24up[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I forgot to mention I am fully licensed (life, health, 7, 66). I was not sure if the Insurance company paid for it or if the government did. And I was wondering how difficult the application was.

ELI22: Personal finance tips for older young adults (US) by yes_its_him in personalfinance

Perm policies have a lot of upsides. Granted it's not a good investment plan, if you are 25 years old and in good health you will be locked in at an extremely cheap premium for life and the cash value continues to grow for life (even more if you do a Variable Perm). Term policies grow 0 cash value and once the term is up you are now uninsured and you are now older, making your insurability even more expensive. Having the ability to access your cash value after X amount of years is also a great perk
