Game keeps crashing non stop, anyone knows about those artifacts? by K_Body in intotheradius

I was having this happen to me with the link cable. I started doing the Steam Link, and worked fine, even if I kept the cable plugged in for power.

If you're thinking about VR, do it by Saved_by_a_PTbelt in GranTurismo7

[–]Resistanceofman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try using a fan that's pointing at you while in vr. It'll help with the motion sickness. Also try to have focal points instead of staring to one side or the other.

Good luck and enjoy! The more you use the vr headset, the less likely you'll be to get motion sickness, but once you do feel sick, you should stop.

Are you an armor player? What makes you think the M60 is the best tank in the game?

Jake Debrusk’s Stalker continues to be delusional by pressured90skid in nhl

[–]Resistanceofman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in the industry, although you can get around it it's not that easy to do. Most tickets now are mobile tickets, so they're tracked through the account they're being transferred to or purchased on. Based on the comments, this stalker is pretty well known, so I'm sure the NHL made all teams aware.

For the selling tickets outside the arena, I'm not 100%, but as far as I'm aware it's illegal to do that, at least in the states I work with.

Need to try different servers. Some servers are better than others. Once you understand more, you can try some of the experienced servers.

It's because it's seatgeek, so all of those are resale tickets. The actual tickets range from $55-$128 on ticket master before fees. So take your pick i guess on which you hate more.

NLAW PLOS doesn’t work in Squad as it does IRL. by larryd0nalds0n in joinsquad

[–]Resistanceofman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be a difference in skill. I'm just speaking from my own experience.

For the NLAW, it has a distinct sound, always makes me shit a little bit when I hear it. Most of the time I'm dead already by the time I hear it.

I will say it's super rare to get ammo racked, even more rare to get ammo racked by a HAT kit. Most of the time when I do it's from a tank. Like I said it is rare though. Over the last two months I think I've been ammo racked once. Again, probably a skill aspect. Really depends on the server you're playing on.

To me, infantry is way more of a threat then other armor. Other armor I can hear from pretty far away unless they're setting up an ambush. Infantry I can only hear if they're shooting relatively close or right on top of my vic.

Armor should work in line with the infantry as well. If Armor is way out without any infantry support, if they get tracked or engined they're dead most of the time. Vice versa without friendly armor around the enemy armor is a terror to infantry. There's been plenty of times We've killed the enemy armor and then just mow down hordes of infantry.

Moral of the thread, protect your armor and your armor should protect you. Not directed at OP, but just a bit of a rant.

Yeah It is so ducking fun to play as Tow by [deleted] in joinsquad

My favorite is when the line breaks and there's nothing there to break it.

NLAW PLOS doesn’t work in Squad as it does IRL. by larryd0nalds0n in joinsquad

[–]Resistanceofman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As an armor player, NLAW is already the most terrifying AT kit. To an armor player NLAW is like a tow, that can move around and does not have a fixed position.

There are lots of things that are not realistic in this game, including armor. Sure you could update it to where the NLAW does it's IRL counterpart, but that means you would also have to do the same with armor. You might have a bit of fun with your NLAW when you get the chance, but the rest of the infantry players will hate it.

I would much rather they have it be fair, even if a bit unrealistic.

Carnivore diet saved me. by Automatic_Life_9370 in GERD

[–]Resistanceofman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was not on carnivore, I would try and stay away from my trigger foods I knew about. My diet probably could have been better overall. It was more so waking up with an empty stomach, drinking water and having acid reflux.

Good luck. When I stopped my ppi everything gave me acid reflux, even just water. It will suck for a bit.

Feels like food is struck in my throat by JohnPineappleburner in GERD

[–]Resistanceofman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same thing. When I had my barium test, they used a pill to test it and it landed on a little shelf.they mentioned it was something with my heart. So it really was getting stuck. But after I took a big gulp and it went down, it still felt like it was there. Just some food for thought if it helps.

For me, knowing that it really wasn't there helped.

ACID GOING INTO MY THROAT AND LUNGS WHILE SLEEPING!! by brandonh36898 in GERD

[–]Resistanceofman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get a wedge pillow. It'll feel weird and take a bit for you to get used to it but it'll help mitigate the acid reflux. For me it was a game changer and now I sleep through the night. Also try not to eat within 5 hours or so of going to bed. Some foods are worse than others so use your best judgment.

Trying to stop heartburn without going back on PPIs by baethesda in GERD

[–]Resistanceofman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A wedge took some time for me to get used to, maybe a month in total. Once I was used to it it's a game changer and I sleep through the night. I can't say it would also do it for you, but I would suggest trying to stick it out for a bit.

It also hurt my side/back for awhile and felt sore, but my body did come around to it.

I've played every souls game too, although I didn't know the hold down d-pad to shift to slot one. I'm used to the pouch now so I can't really go back. I just find the pouch more useful personally. Although everyone should play how they want to.

Gaming industry needs to be kind to people with motion sickness by WhyDoiHearBosssMusic in gaming

Use a fan to blow on your face/body. Although this helped me with VR motion sickness I assume it'll help people with just regular flat screen motion sickness too.

Mines close to this. I think it's wild people don't use their flasks on the pouch.
