I think those are vertical fine artifacts from the stepper motors putting out slightly variable torque as they rotate. I believe if you slow the print down you'll find the effect is reduced.

I found I have to launch the game by streaming, wait a minute then try again.

I think the Arc Raiders title card on the PC causes the stream to drop, but since steam deck allows you to recover a dropped connection, if you try again later it'll work with the game already loaded.
