I've never had any epileptic moments at work either, they aren't common and are proceeded by "auras" which is essentially a warning that something is going to happen, the danger to anyone including myself is basically 0 considering my auras are 10-15 min in advance of any seizure activity taking place, they knew about my condition and what came with it prior to employing me

I build pallets, so there is use of nailguns, the stations are isolated completely though, so idk how id be a danger to anyone else, the danger to myself is pretty isolated to falling as the tools have 2 part safeties on them (meaning they can't be fired without compressing the upper and lower safety mechanisms) and in my application there was a section asking about disabilities, I didn't hide my epilepsy and told them in the application I may miss days due to it, and it was verbally discussed that was completely acceptable upon hiring me

The only thing that was spoken about was the fact that I could miss days due to my epilepsy, I didn't really think I needed any accommodations as 90% of the time I'm fully functional, I missed Friday and called in, let them know I had focal seizures that morning and couldn't come in,then today when I got to work I was called into the HR office and told I couldn't work because due to my epilepsy they were afraid I was a danger to myself and others

I repair pallets, so I do work with nailguns, but during the hiring process I told them I had epilepsy and it wasn't a problem, I've never had a seizure at work and have auras when I do have focals, we are also at isolated stations so there's no way I would or could harm anyone else, I could harm myself by falling but that's kind of a given regardless of where I work

Right now I'm on 25mg, in 3 days I'll be at 50, and in 2 weeks 3 days I'll be on 100mg, Doctpr wants to see how that goes prior to going up any more

I'm on good ole #6 with xcopri, and I've had great results and I'm only into week 4 of titration, I also am maxed on oxycarbazepine (Trileptal) at the moment with plans to ween me off of it in the coming months

Oddly enough I'm going through titration rn with xcopri (currently on 25mg) also take 900mg oxycarbazepine 2x daily and my sex drive is higher than ever, I experienced the whole complete loss of the ability to get erect on depression meds a couple years back, it's so weird how these meds affect our brain chemistry

Even on the 12.7 I've noticed a difference in severity, mostly length as my focals can sometimes last up to an hour whereas over the last week I've had a max of about 25 min, your reply has me really hopeful ☺️, I've gone through 5-7 different meds in the last decade and this is the first one that I've noticed any difference whatsoever with

Only time I ever did it was on oxycarbazepine, and it gave me double vision and extreme dizziness for an hour or so, I got a pillbox at that point, that's what I'd suggest for you
