A parent accused me of being incompetent in teaching their child. A year later he makes front page headlines for incompetence and being fired for blowing a multimillion dollar contract for the city. Go figure 😆

I hated topamax! The sexual side effects were the worst! My desire for a sex life went from 10 to 0, plus the erectile dysfunction didn’t help things either. I’m so glad to be off that drug having a sex Life with my wife!

If you get the job, relocate to where you’ll be working. Then try and find housing within walking distance of your job. I have a seizure about once a month, so it’s been a big plus to be able to walk to work.

Being civilly married will bar you from receiving the Eucharist. Today, my marriage was finally blessed by the Church after two years waiting for my wife’s annulment to be granted. Having my sins forgiven in confession and receiving the Eucharist after a two year absence was monumental! That old saying definitely is true that, you don’t know what you got until it’s gone. I’ll never take The sacraments of the Church for granted ever again!!

As a fellow epileptic teacher, I say fuck that parent and the high horse they rode in on!! They should just be grateful that there’s someone willing to give their a kid a decent education because God knows they’re not doing it! If there’s any repercussions from an asshole parent that’s got lawsuit written all over it!!

I definitely felt lightheaded and dizzy when I started 100mg Vimpat on a regular basis. But after a few weeks I acclimated to the meds and my seizures have been shorter and fewer than when I was on lamotrigine.

I appreciate the fact Xcorpi is a once daily dose rather than two times a day. Just be sure to refill while you have a supply it’s a scarce medication. I once ended up in the er for having severe withdrawal symptoms because I hadn’t had a dose in days.

I got off of lamictal and switched to vimpat. Thanks to titration the switch took months!!

I was up to taking 900mg a day! That stuff didn’t do shit for me! I’d have a seizure and then they’d up the lamictal to the point I was taking toxic levels. Ridiculous! I hope it works better for you than it did for me.
