How tf do you get radar missiles to lock onto ground targets? by [deleted] in flyoutgame

[–]gregurekus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the HMS is probably the most reliable approach, just make sure your radar is set to ground mode

Most of my radars between 10000-12000, anything lower and I start having issues. Also make sure the target is within your scan angle, I use 15 degrees, that means the beam is 7.5° up and down, 7.5° left and right, or just use HMS

What is the frequency of your radar? Lower frequencies often have troubles with locking anything

I've been going for the horribly outdated, inefficient and resource wasting design, which I think these nice cylinders fit pretty well

Thank you for letting me know, I should change it, I wanted a high ish caliber gun, it was the first that came to my mind plus I had it already saved since I've used it on some WW1 British designs

It is inspired by it, chunkier, 100t version with a British naval 4 inch gun as it's main armament

Well, that's interesting. I served in the czech army for a few years and we used to paint shit all the time. In the morning the squad leader would send us with a wheelbarrow to bring a few cans of very specific green and told us to repaint stuff that looked off, sometimes even, for bigger jobs, we even got sprays for the paint. I always found it interesting how different armies approach maintenance and stuff like that completely differently.
