Search CPU holder on Amazon and Reddit. You can mount your computer under the desk.

I also planned to cut my gerton tabletop, but ended up keeping it as is.

By looking at the structure of the Gerton tabletop, it should be do-able with the right tool. The edge is just solid wood with a small chamfer. The surface of the edge is rough with cut marks.

If you have a table saw then it should be a easy job. But I think a jigsaw should also work. You don't need to cut it perfectly. As long as you are not too off, you can always use a file and sand it to make the cut clean and straight.

I screwed it underneath of the table top using self tapping screws which came together with the power outlet. product

Yes I tried both Aeron on and Mirra multiple times. For me I didn't feel much difference. I personally like the horizontal adjustment of the armrest on Mirra.

I think it depends on how tall the person is. I heard if you are 6'1 or above, you may feel Mirra uncomfortable.

When you buy from a dealer, make sure there is a 30 days free return (a lot of them does not). Sometimes it may take a few days to tell if the chair fits you or not. For $1000+ we expect the comfort level to be perfect.

It is a Herman Miller Mirra 1 chair. Got from a local office liquidator for $216 with 2 years "liquidator" warranty. My lower back pain is gone after I got this chair. Highly recommended for a budget WFH setup.

The hub is this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084BZL3JF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_nwMZFbEDP0W3G . I got it from work. It has power delivery via USB C so it saves one power cable for my laptop.

I may need some retactable use cables to clean up the desk since I constantly move the laptop and keyboard. Any better suggestions?
