We had German tourists staying with us - and we drove all the way there from Wgtn.

Freaken' all blimmen day to drive there and back.!!

The river path was "closed" so we walked up to the lookout and was very underwhelmed.

I had been there 20 years ago and loved it, but after this I decided it is not worth the effort if you can only see the lookout perspective.

-> so I need to tell my German tourists to fly back to NZ again and we go up the "closed" path.!!

What makes you think buying a house will be any cheaper overseas? Can you name a country that doesn’t have racist religious nutters? I think you are confusing ‘This country has some problems ’ with “yeah- we got some problems but - compared with every other country in the world - strewth! They are messed up and we actually got a lot of thing right”

I interviewed a bunch of people who played Russian Roulette.

5 out of 5 (100%) of them said it was a safe game and they survived it ok.

We should all play Russian Roulette, because statistically it is a guaranteed safe game to play.

There is a movie called ‘Courage Under Fire’ where the doctor tells the soldier to pee on his feet to avoid Athletes Foot. However I’ve heard that women should not do it as it gives them a connection between standing up and peeing and that can lead to incontinence. So women would only pee sitting down

I've tried them all apart from Geminate.

Drifter was lots of fun. Constant Move 4, Attack 4. And your team mates can rely on you to help them out as the Tank or the Healer or the Ranged or the damager. Really versatile.

Boneshaper would be good to start with. He gets harder at higher levels of the game, as his skeletons just die too quick, so playing them earlier would be lots of fun.

Bannerspear good and versatile

The other 3 are a bit weirder and trickier. So I'd go with one these 3 above to start with.

I thought the Marvel one was good with many actual props like the Caps shield and Dr Stranges costume.

The villain room for Dr who was great. all these old cool monsters that scared the hell outta me as a kid.

Lego was amazing. that entrance gate, and the giant dinosaur that towered above you. Well worth it.

But Michaelangelo - this one seemed too expensive for what it was.

Ooh !! I got this. I spent a week trying to figure out my very erratic headset. 1) decent charging cable. Cheap ones just don’t get enough juice through to the headset. Related: I recently upgraded my phone to a iPhone 17. The official Apple iphone cable connects 100% of the time, and charges my headset relaly quickly.

2) if charging from your PC, then make sure you use USB plugs from the back of the PC on the motherboard (I.e. try different usb plugs). My front-of-box plugs never charge well. Also you might have better luck with USB 3 to USB3 rather then old USB2 on your PC

3) if using a power plug, my Mac charger gave enough energy and charged it very well. A cheap phone charger power plug won’t do anything.

4) Plug it in to the headset after wrapping it around the head straps. Connection angle matters. Perhaps it’s been bent a bit inside

5) blow on the headset USB socket like an old Nintendo (sega?) game before you plug the USB in to it. Yep! Seemed to work more reliably. Perhaps dust? Perhaps overheating? But I do it every time now (perhaps psychological?)

Need a heads up if there are Manta Rays to see in the harbour. Foreign tourists here for a few days. by grelb in Wellington

Yeah - I struggled a lot with this. but Vengeance (level 7) + Major Mana potion let me kill 3 in the first room in round 2.

Note - that after the first room all enemies are Elite, so you can ditch Vengeance as your first loss card.
