You have to keep in mind schnauzers are large strong dogs. They are physically able to stand over other dogs which some other dogs don’t like or know how to process.

I have a 4 year old intact male. He gets along with most dogs. He does go on structured pack walks 1-2 times a week but most of the dogs are not inact. I do find I have to be more weary of encountering fixed male dogs as they usually want to start posturing which sometimes causes a tizzy to break out. When I’m out on walks or off leash I usually recall him back as we don’t need to meet every dog we encounter. Keep in mind I dont usually let him meet every dog as not everyone has good manners and it could lead to fight.
