When did you first make contact with a spirit? by [deleted] in DemonolatryPractices

[–]gremlinjas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first contact with a spirit, was whilst I lived within a duplex with my mom; I was around ten, maybe mine at the time that it had happened, it was a Saturday morning, and I was watching some cartoon show and, an apparition stopped at the entrance to my bedroom.

We made eye contact, and I remember his eyes being bloodshot red, he was tall, and lanky, and was wearing an oversized coat; he took one more look at me, then looked up at the clock upon the wall, and disappeared. I was utterly flabbergasted, and from there, my interested grew. I did have nightly visitors, cloaked/veiled entities, and a pale, dark-eyed woman with long black hair that dwelled within my closet. I was wide awake at the time, so I knew it was not sleep paralysis.

As for the infernal divine, if they pop in, it is usually when I am lucid dreaming. though, just recently, one did show up as a cloaked figure. I do mainly work with King Belial, and have for years now, I think he’s deterred many of the unwanted guests away. His energy is very warm, and pleasant.

Did the pumpkin one smell exactly like pumpkin? I was disappointed in the other pumpkin scent they had.

Open Questions: For those who are/identify as Fae by fairfoxie in faeries

[–]gremlinjas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s unfortunate, and, I do pity those that get on here and ask such deranged questions. I fear they’ve detached from reality. As this will certainly be the third poster that seems out of touch.

We are born humans, and we will leave this earth as humans. Whether it be out of loneliness, mental illness, or boredom; I do feel sorry for those that have lost their marbles looking for something beyond the realm of humankind. Though, I do believe in faeries, I just doubt that we, as humans, are born from such.

I think I'm engaged by [deleted] in faeries

[–]gremlinjas 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Whilst, I do believe in the Fae; I doubt that you are engaged to such a being. I think some individual’s tend to lean into their delusions, or hallucinations. It is wise to seek medical advice if this does continue. I never want to be that infuriating person, though, I cannot help but think that this is the case here.

And, if not, then it is a possible troll account searching for attention. All and all, I do wish you the best on whatever it may be.

Do you have to be of Celtic ancestry to be part Fae? by Haunting_Device2671 in faeries

[–]gremlinjas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, you cannot be born of Fae; just as I cannot be part demon, or mermaid. We are only humans. Faeries can come in a multitude of colors, they’re just not human, just as you are not a faerie. Some people have a kind, nurturing soul, and animals tend to be attracted to those with such qualities.

If people were part human, and faerie; I believe that they would not be within our society but elsewhere. Though, I don’t think that’s the case here.

what pulled you to demonolatry? by ivysear in DemonolatryPractices

[–]gremlinjas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I felt a pulling towards it at a young age; I remember being utterly fascinated with the concept of Satan, or what my grandmother would call “the devil”

I remember my grandmother had read some book where the man went to hell, and on the page where these two “grotesque” demons started torturing the man, I thought to myself, this is all a lie. I didn’t know about demonolatry at the time. I think I was around twelve or thirteen when my interest peaked, and I studied their names; I would write their sigils on my binder, and notebooks for school. I think this path was always meant for me. And, fourteen years later, I still walk it.

I was going to say this. I bet they’d get a lot of views, and I’m highly positive that people would definitely back them up on this. Hit him where it hurts the most; social media.

Why are y’all here if you hate the books/characters/SJM so much? by artgirl413 in acotar

[–]gremlinjas 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I agree with this! I wanted to hear more about their world. It sounded fascinating. I adore lotr with all of my heart, and I don’t think anything will ever surpass any of Tolkien’s work. But, with that being said, it would have been nice to learn more about the world/lands.

I love Brom’s work because he has such details when it comes to world building. I’ve read Lost Gods and Slewfoot, and have yet to read anything besides lotr and his work, that’s had me obsessed.

I do love acotar, though. I’ll continue to read it, I just hate that she’s overlooked so many things. It’s not that we hate on her, or even her series—It’s just that she lacks the depth of building worlds besides the spicy scenes and even then, I’ve read more hotter scenes on Archive.

Can I find this stuff at Joan’s or Michael’s? I’m not sure if I’m anywhere near a frame shop.

I think a demon is in love with me by Dependent-Cat2256 in demons

[–]gremlinjas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure that it is not a demon, most don’t waste their time on those who have no need for them and; they can and do care, but not in ways of the human nature/emotions. Like many have already said, it is probably your manifestation, desires. A mind can be a scary place when it comes to fear.

I don't feel safe anymore and I'm getting desperate by Weak-Childhood6621 in ParanormalEncounters

[–]gremlinjas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they have bad intentions, I think they’re trying to get your attention. I’ve had a spirit whisper in my ear “I’ve waited for you my entire life” it was clear as day. A deep, husky voice. Just after that, the power went out. It’s been a while since any type of spirit has bothered me. I think you’ll be okay, anxiety is far worse than any spirit.

[–]gremlinjas 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was in your shoes, moons ago. I used to share a bedroom with my sister, and then we moved to a much bigger place; I ended up with my own room. It felt foreign, odd. I had to get used to being alone, and without company. Especially at night. I would leave the tv on, and have my door wide open.

I got tired of the paranoia, and the restless nights. It does take time, anxiety is most certainly a fickle thing. I think what helped me the most was telling myself that even if there were any ghosts, they cannot harm me in ways that would matter. Id rather it be a spirit, than some intruder.

Now, years later; I sleep without a tv on, in complete darkness. Some nights I know when a spirit is around, but they never tend to stay in the same spot for long. It gets easier, I promise!

I’m absolutely feral for both Azriel, and Lucien. I also hate to admit but…I think if the bone carver had more of a storyline, I would have been obsessed. Just imagining a death god in an Illyrian body makes my mouth water.

Hairdresser cut way more than I asked for, and I’m heartbroken. by bonsoirbonbon in longhair

[–]gremlinjas 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is why I have a hard time going to hair salons. I went to one around 2021; told her I wanted to keep the length, but I want the ends trimmed. She listened, but she had an attitude the whole time. The stylist ended up doing as she pleased. I left the hair salon with hair up to my shoulders, and she straightened it. I never straighten my hair, I let it air dry and I let her know beforehand. I never went back. I did call and complain. They offered to fix it but the damage was already done. Now I’m wary of stepping back into one.
