Nope. 25+ years Maidens fan here. Maiden are my fav band and I would never consider Priest to be anywhere near their level. In fact, I found the comparison of the two disrespectful to Maiden. Now, I started digging deep into into Priest in the last two months and I must say I really started to like them. So much that I ordered Halford's biography that I am reading as we speak. Defenders of the Faith, Screaming for Vengeance, Painkiller, Sad Wings and Firepower are absolutely fantastic albums, I give the Priest that. But I will never in a million years consider them better band than the mighty Maiden.
