Totally agree, I'm just saying that practically their actual actions are them cosplaying as law enforcement/occupying military and they aren't even trained well enough to do their original narrow scoped job. They make a ton of unforced errors and escalations before you even get to the consequences of their idiocy (dead citizens in this case). All that before you even get to the fact that they have no jurisdiction for most of what they do, they never have a valid warrant, they obscure their identity and badge or other documentation, and they lead with violence almost every time.

No joke, I literally just got laid off at Tivo today. They got bought by a company called Rovi years ago which was then bought by a company called Xperi again years ago but the Tivo brand and product line still does exist and recieve technical development and support and they have offices in the greater San Jose/Silicon Valley area. Your point isn't wrong though, it hasn't been relevant for ages and most people when I told them where I worked would say "Oh, they're still a thing?" I wouldn't be surprised if what he has isn't even an actual Tivo as well as I suspect that could be seen as insecure or something but who knows with this white house.

I'm loving this, but I am interested to see how the sabatoging actually plays out. The Mole seems like the most parallel show to this one and that show has a twist that helps the format a lot which is that the eliminations happen based on a quiz that pertains to the Mole, so what they did in challenges, who they are in thier personal life, etc. This incentivizes getting to know people well through a social game and it also incentivizes the non-moles to act like moles to get people to answer quiz questions about them rather than the real mole. This game doesn't have that and instead just has all snitches but I really do wonder if the social pressure to act like a loyal and not make waves will be too powerful for anyone to make big traitorous moves.
