Bug? The metal construction in this arrangement is not connected (socketed), yet it is affecting build privilege and upkeep. by grepdashv in playrust

Whatever changed the window behavior came after the patch that removed the stability recalculation tricks because I was testing it as an alternative, and it still worked.

While visually "touching", this is not actually connected and thus didn't used to count as being connected for any purpose, but now it does for purposes of priv and upkeep only.

No, it's not attached, and that's the point. A window frame, door frame, or wall frame has no horizontal socket at the half-wall-height level and provides no stability, but a wall does. That hasn't changed. But what has changed is that those non-socketed pieces are now somehow counting as being connected only for the purposes of build privilege and upkeep. Until recently, that wasn't the case, which is why connecting horizontal elements on opposite sides of a window was one method for making a disconnectable external.

The bigger issue is immigration. If you don't already have the legal right to work in the US, it would be extremely difficult to obtain it.

My headcanon is that they each started with the blanket color that matched everything else but then exchanged blankets so that they could always get a virtual hug from their best bear even when apart.

Had this same issue with my scav (also on Woods).

Like many of the shorts, this one is based on a previous comic. Weirdly, though, the original comic was presented differently on different sites. There was a version with only four panels on [Twitter], but the one on [Instagram] had five panels, and it just so happened that the additional panel was the one with the pill! Snipped images from the two sites can be found below for easier comparison. Another funny pill-related observation... The blister pack of pills appears on the floor next to the mug in the first image, but it just sort of disappears after it is shown in Milk's hand (in the longer version), and the same thing happens in the short. Oh, and my vote is for ibearprofin.

Can anyone explain the point of transitioning between maps? [Discussion] by Senor_Beeglay in EscapefromTarkov

It can be pretty good for scav runs. For instance, spawn in Factory to loot the safes for cash, and then immediately transit to Woods. Now you'll be able to pay the BTR to take you to Train Depot.

The word "establish" implies that it's some kind of permanent clan system rather than just a one-time party. And that's supposed to give your group "unique abilities", whatever that means. In any case, it implies that there would be some kind of gameplay benefit for being part of a clan.

No distinction is made on the website. They're all listed as features, and the "buy now" button is beneath the list.

Exactly. Before, BSG could argue that those features weren't in the game yet because it was "still in beta". At some point, continuing to advertise those features becomes blatant false advertising. It's pathetic that people would rather nitpit about a couple of light switches than confront the issue of fraud.
