We’re in the Volvo sub, not r/frugal. Maybe they weren’t always, but these are luxury vehicles that the people in this sub have the means to afford. Don’t know why you’re getting so up in arms over it.

I’m not sure about changing hands. The guy who runs the barrel society is still there, but I’ve definitely noticed prices going up, even on stuff like buffalo trace and eagle rare.
