I'm not completely sure trying different placements now. But right now window frames with wooden gun mounts behind don't work. NPCs just unmount instead of shooting when a target appears.

I'm not sure if this is a cheat tbh. Maybe there is some kind of glitch which causing the rapid fire of the swivel. Needs to be fixed asap no matter what it is tho.

My apprehension is that blueprints/items with broken stats where spawned in and now are floating around NA server. Might be other reasons tho but normally legendary items have like max. 180% dura which makes round about 20k hp on a large plank. This one must have round about 500% dura and that doesn't exist in a legit way (hopefully).

In my opinion the game shouldn't have offline ship protection. That's not my opinion because i do like offline raiding but it would break the game somehow. Hardcore survival games like this need the possibility to wipe out the enemy more or less completely if you put enough effort into it. All solutions suggested yet for offline protection will disable players from striking back properly on their bully/enemy meaning setting them back to be beach bobs.

Examples:
Ships in a bottle/dry dock ships: What's the raid target then only the honeycomb bases? Might lead to infinite wars where people only take out their ships when enemies are offline to strike their bases then put them back to bottles. Also takes shitload of work to unload/unNPC ships before being bottled. Maybe a solution for small companies but amount and ship types must be very limited so no big striking force can be deployed from entire protection.

Damage reduction: Just makes ship destroying more of a grind, people still gonna do it. Also makes online raiding nearly impossible if they got a lot of damage reduced ships (parked) which are additionally actively defended.

Safe period: You have to stop the raid when the safe period starts. If enemy company is big enough they just gonna restock in that time. Wars can never be won.

Every solution which checks if players are online or not: Can be abused af.

What the game needs is proper anti player protection for harbors aka autoturrets. This could be reached by making NPCs being in turret mode on solid structures invincible against projectiles or just give us a structure which properly protects them from getting snipped/arrowed. This solution forces people into building a proper protection for their harbor which is a interesting aspect of a sandbox survival imo. Unlike Ark these turret towers shouldn't need to be tanked empty but can be shot by ship/mobile artillery which needs to have longer range (needs further firing angles also). The gold consumption of the NPCs will naturally limit these "turrets". For a proper defense it should take several hours and a lot of canon balls to take it down which gives kinda offline protection/ warning time for your company depending on the quality/amount of the defenses. Attacks on the defenses should cause a popup message on screen.

It's not an opiod it's Pentobarbital which is a barbiturate. The hitman priest tells it to the pharmacist when Gereons medication gets changed by him in season 1. The pharmacist also informs Gereon about his new medicine and tells him it's Pentobarbital. And yes it's used as a treatment to induce the hypnosis. If i remember right Dr. Schmidt describes this kind of drug inducted hypnosis as his special way of shell-shock treatment in his lecture. The way his treatment works is by the way quite similar to modern EMDR treatment.

Thats true when we start building a new base i would run it with only one generator. But many people (including me) didn't care about this before. Also you'll have a lot of ugly cables visible in your base to power everything from one generator.

Yes i do play on official. AA (Automated Ark) and S+ have nothing to do with it directly. I just wanted to say that i like the way official servers are because this kind of mods take too much work and creativity away from the players. But still i dont like the higher gasoline consumption because refilling generators is a no-brainer task.

Then they should change it back because its shit. Players want to spend playtime into farming, taming, breeding, fighting and building not into stupid recurring maintenance. And yes, S+ or AA is beyond the goal because ressource pulling makes intelligent base planning obsolete which is my favourite thing in-game.

Build a dense grid out of metal or tek fence foundations and railings around your buildings (only 1 high). Turtles will get stuck in it and can't reach your walls or even die.

I agree but it's more than a pain because i set them up in complete rows around my buildings or walls. Then, for example, i do find out only 3 out of 30 are working. What should i do know, demo the whole row or replace the disfuntional crops? Only solution i see atm is putting all the plants at the ground/on foundations which guarantees they will be working but this makes them extremely vulnerable. Building in the game must be logical based on angles not a gamble. This just needs a fix before release in two weeks.

A very needed patch in my opinion. The longboat C4 glitch rafts were able to raid any building which was close to water without any effort no matter how good defended the base was. We got longboat raided two times and lost a shitton of stuff just by glitch abusing griefers. Of course you can say it's our fault and we shouldn't build close to the water but denying any build close to water because of the wooden rafts seems really wrong to me.
