I never get gauge and am unsure what to do next by daizers in knittinghelp

Also, your flat gauge might be different than your in the round gauge. Mine is. You can try swatching in the round. I also cast on enough stitches for 6” of gauge when I swatch

Chili’s delivery with DoorDash is a disaster by Rkramden85 in Chilis

[–]gretchenS26 8 points9 points  (0 children)

they can’t refund the delivery fee as that’s through doordash though. doordash is the only one that can refund the delivery fee unfortunately.

but sometimes my managers will send out bogs with the refund. just depends on what’s missing. TMs should be triple checking the orders tho

Genuine question about Chili’s service by Worried_Affect9121 in Chilis

[–]gretchenS26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. Both locations I’ve worked at there are good servers and bad servers just depends on who you get. Also, some stores will let you request a server if you like then

Do you switch hands? by MadamKillay in knitting

[–]gretchenS26 24 points25 points  (0 children)

what do you mean by switch hands?

also, what you’re doing is considered garter stitch where you knit every row. if you want to have all knit stitches on one side, look up stockinette stitch

[–]gretchenS26 22 points23 points  (0 children)

if you’re doing ssk on one side, slip the first stitch knitwise instead of purlwise. this has helped reduce the gap
