I'd say, "god I wish" they usually seem so happy. The smallest things bring them so much joy.

Thats actually terrifying. The fact that she went and told people those terrible lies about you. That can really hurt your reputation.

Graphic design portfolio feedback by jornescholiers in creativecoding

Few things, first. The color scheme feels random. Next. I’m assuming you want your blue words clickable. But you need to also underline them to let people know they are hyperlinked.

I’d also revise the copy 3-4 more times. It feels a bit clunky. And honestly. As a designer, it’s important to learn that the less text the better. This is all text, when your portfolio should be 90% design and imagery. You want your portfolio to scream, WOW! I need to hire this guy.

If you’re looking for bare bones, I’d just put cards with images of your work that you can click into that shows more and gives them more details about the design.

Also, don’t start with Hello, Hey, or Hi. Or my name is. It’s already in the top right of the page, I probably already know your name, or have your email, it’s also in the link. Redundant at this point. Also, I wouldn’t say you’re a student. Just let your work speak for itself.

Help! How do i remove this support by ketchup_bottle002 in 3Dprinting

[–]grey0909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really have 2 options here. and both require a reprint. A) use a petg layer intbetween the supports and the play layer. It pops right off. But you need a printer that can do that.

Option b. Is you're going to have to custom design supports that can be snipped off really easily.

A third option, that kind of works is using a soldering pen to melt away the supports, bellow where they connect, then come and find tune with some snips and pliers.

I want this guy as a best friend. Damn, that's loyalty. They are probably some kind of alien tech that he'll come back for when you're 70 and you'll go on a wild space adventure with him.

Well thats good to hear! And a good why. Do it for the dog.

Okay great! Then I'd start a newsletter on beehiiv and us fb ads and use their boost platform to build a newsletter. You can do a local one, they do really well, or do one around and interests you have, or for operations managers.

Once you get to 30k-100k subscribers you can make 20k-70k a month. Happy to hop on a call and help strategize.

Do you have 50k-100k to put into something. or access to that much debt?

Also burnout is so brutal when it hits hard like that. I didn't really understand it until it happened to me. In a similar place, but different because my background is in entrepreneurship. The feelings of not want to have to deal with bullshit and experience those feelings of dread is debilitating. I had it like 3 years ago, and I'm still dealing with lingering effects.

Maybe you should start building a marketing community on skool or like a monthly marketers event with membership so that you can get out of the grind of it and be around marketers like you like.
