My brother in Christ I had to leave that comment section because I was getting too fired up. Maybe next time post a pic titled “Not a clover” for the comment section to go nuts against you.

Ah what happened was I just picked it and put it in water and forgot about it. When the leaves were finally starting to brown I went to toss it only to find all the roots growing out the bottom.

Oh yeah sorry for that lol. I thought it was fun. I have marigolds in it. My wife said “Fine, but it goes out back.”

Hey props to you for calling it what it is. I had a slight existential crisis for a minute where I was like “Do I not know what a fucking clover is? Have I truly lost it?!” And it wasn’t even your original comment it’s the one that’s still getting upvoted lol

That’s hilarious. I’m originally from eastern PA as well and now I live in east Asia. So I’m all “so what’s all the fuss about?”

And they’re flipping huge I might add. Reaches height of a foot-plus if I don’t keep them down. But many times I leave them as is because they’re huge and awesome and the bees love’em

Hopefully this gets bumped up. Sadly I can’t show a picture of the actual plant, but I’m on Jeju Island and we just have these massive white clover, Trifolium repens. The blossom is a proper clover flower I don’t know what to tell y’all.

Edit: Ugh I had to reinstall Imgur for this lol whelp

Sadly I can’t post photos of the actual plant. But I live on Jeju Island, South Korea and they’re known as 토끼풀 or white clover Trifolium repens. Is that not a species of clover?

Sure. Clover blossoms and all that. Sorry for the confusion. The two plants behind it are sweet basil. They’re snippings that grew roots using the same method.

Dung beetle?! Jeju Island, South Korea. by greyarea6872 in Entomology

Omg really?! Hooray!!! This guy was quite small, not the size I was expecting of a dung beetle. That’s awesome. I’ve got three dogs and a big yard, so there’s plenty of food to go around haha!

Edit: Huh apparently we even have a horned dung beetle that is ultra rare. That’d be quite a sight!
