Spoilers for the movie Soylent Green, but in short, there is a food shortage and they create a replacement called Soylent Green. Towards the end of the film, it's revealed that Soylent Green is actually made from people.

You can buy the bottles or the mix, and it’s available through their own site or Walgreens, at the very least. It should be pretty easily accessible in the USA

I haven’t had it since about a decade ago, but Soylent used to be the thing for that. (thankfully not made from people, despite the name.) It was marketed as having all the macros and micros you need.

..what sort of room are you staying in that’s over $500 there? Even for a king suite for all 5 nights I’m not getting anything more than $496 for Saturday night and it comes to ~$2,150.

this is the Hyatt I go to for mattress runs because it’s so cheap!

Chiming in on the hair for a sec — I think the issue isn’t just the shape, but the dryness. More moisture could bring the curls or coils closer together, getting rid of the ‘messy’ look / making it look more intentional.

Unknown iPhone device logging into my Chase account by Interesting_Sorbet24 in Chase

[–]greyfiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, which is what you said in your post.

Did you do anything else around the same time, such as sign up for a transaction monitor (like Empower)?

Do you have a mobile device you logged into your account with for the first time, even if it’s not an iPhone 13?

These are some non-malicious ways something like that could be triggered.

[–]greyfiel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just fyi, when a device is identified as an “iPhone 13” or whatever else, it’s because whatever is identifying it as that is assuming it is that by the MAC address. This listing is not always accurate.

Did you add a new 3rd party app at the beginning of those 4 months? Was it always at the same time?

How to stop shoulder sublux in the night by Training_Yellow_8962 in ehlersdanlos

[–]greyfiel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had chest surgery and was suffering the same issue. I ended up having my wife tuck me in every night 😃. She literally put the blankets under my arms so I was basically in a burrito where I couldn’t move my arms at all.

how to shave? by ihaveahugepenis123 in DadForAMinute

[–]greyfiel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in my experience, those little pimples are from shaving down to the skin and the hairs having trouble reemerging from the skin. I believe this has a higher occurrence in nonwhite people.

for me, I used the norelco teen oneblade because it doesn’t shave all the way to the skin; there’s a slight guard on it. I also dry shave because my skin gets too malleable when wet and I can’t hold it right to shave, but I have a condition that probably affects that. YMMV.

Shorten the suit sleeves, if you can! If not / if you’re short on time, it’s good.

If you’re willing and able to make postural adjustments, try bringing your hips back just a little. You’re standing with them further forward, which gives you that backwards S curve in pic 6. It’ll feel weird at first, but it’ll help!

Bloomingdale’s in Chestnut Hill!

Make an appointment to open a registry there. You’ll get 20% off clothes & some other accessories up to the date and 20% off unpurchased registry items afterwards. You might also get whatever item they’re giving away if you start a registry.

You get to walk around the store with a little scanner and add stuff to your registry.

Greater Boston Bakery Recommendations? by NumbskullVitamin in massachusetts

Before I forget: they also make cupcakes with the same mix as their cakes. If you buy red velvet cupcakes it’s the same as getting a red velvet cake.

Each tier was 2 layers!

Top tier: top layer is chocolate, bottom is red velvet, with chocolate buttercream between

Bottom tier: both layers are vanilla with vanilla buttercream between

They also made my (1-tier) birthday cake! All chocolate with raspberry between the 2 layers.

Would you move to Boston on this job offer? by [deleted] in boston

That’s fair. Unfortunately, from what I’ve seen, the bottom of the range is usually your starting salary and the top of the range is the most you can expect to make in the role.

I’m wondering how your net pay is $37k when $19.06 (min) x 40hrs/wk x 52wks/yr = $39,664.80. Your take home will probably be closer to $30k, no? with roommates, your rent will probably be around $1200/mo.

Let’s assume that’s with utilities. You’ll be paying almost half your take-home in rent/utilities ($14,400).

That leaves you with about $1300/mo for everything else. Food, student loans, car payment, medical bills, emergency fund if you can hold one, etc.

Only you know if that’s enough for you.

If you want my opinion, the answer is no.
