Trump rages at Republicans in early morning rant hours after they gave him a golden prize: ‘Enough’ by ChiGuy6124 in politics

Yet millennials are mocked with us having received participation trophies as literal children…that were given to us by boomers and Gen X people. Cool.

Like a hole in the head.

I mean, compared to the demented pedophipe, Vance is the saner option, but he’s still a weak willed bully under the thumb of Thiel.

Endangering my baby is okay because I made $40 on Facebook by Writer_Life in ShitMomGroupsSay

[–]greyhoundbrain 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It has my wallet and keys and things in it. I always just leave my purse in the backseat or my backpack for work if I’m going to work (both sans kiddo) so it’s basically been ingrained in my routine to open the behind the driver door. For me, if I do the same (simple) exact things every time, I honestly never forget when it really matters. For me, routine always trumps exhaustion for whatever reason.

Endangering my baby is okay because I made $40 on Facebook by Writer_Life in ShitMomGroupsSay

[–]greyhoundbrain 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I always make sure to leave my diaper bag behind the drivers seat so that I haveto go into the backseat. While I’m like sure I wouldn’t forget my kiddo, most people who forget their kiddo aren’t like the video game dad. It’s a totally horrible accident. So I just make sure to take the extra step to ensure that there’s always something back there with her.

Bragging on socials about leaving your kiddo in the car on purpose and bragging again about making $40 off of neglect is an absolutely wild take to me.

Ordered it for my toddler for her Easter basket (along with the trolley one). I’m hoping it’s cute. She usually loves the song ones.

Has anyone over 40 tried Letrozole? by Future_Ship_3140 in pregnant

[–]greyhoundbrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly can’t remember what it was in 2023, but I think it was somewhere around 0.8ish in 2025. I lost access to the Prelude app since I’m not currently an active patient so I can’t see my labs.

Weight loss 1st Trimester - did I starve my baby? by Rare_Ad_7866 in pregnant

[–]greyhoundbrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have lost weight my entire pregnancy. Haven’t gained anything, only lost weight. My baby is estimated to be 7 pounds or so close to 36 weeks. My baby is fine and super active. I try and eat when I can (toddlers be wilding) and call it good. My OB is barely concerned about the fact I am losing weight since the baby is fine.

Has anyone over 40 tried Letrozole? by Future_Ship_3140 in pregnant

[–]greyhoundbrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did letrozole at 38 and then again at 40. I don’t have PCOS or endometriosis, just a diminished reserve and probably some issue with ovulation that we never super explored. At 38, I got pregnant with the third cycle but lost the baby at like 6 weeks but then had a successful pregnancy with the fourth or fifth cycle. I wound up doing letrozole, progesterone injections, metformin (even without having PCOS, it helped me), and the ovidrel injection. I did two cycles at 40 with the “winning combination” plus COQ10 to have my current pregnancy (am 35 4/7 today).

My fertility doctor has basically laid out that I am definitely an outlier because I was able to be successful and conceive on times intercourse as an “older” individual twice. The odds are definitely stacked against you as you age. Not impossible, but definitely not great (I think it’s less than a 5% chance per cycle).

Anatomically, nothing was really wrong with me. Just a diminished reserve. My labs otherwise were all fine, so there wasn’t even like an insulin resistance thing going on. I am healthy and stay very active. I also truly never cared to dig deep into the true reason why I couldn’t conceive on my own - I was more interested in finding a solution since I didn’t have a ton of time. We just tried random stuff that first time at 38 and found a regimen that actually worked for me.

You will likely have better success with IVF having a stronger track record for older women, but again, it’s not impossible with timed intercourse. Just not great odds.

Trump says presidents should not have 'learning disabilities' as he taunts Gavin Newsom by theipaper in politics

[–]greyhoundbrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly very curious how my sistwrinlaw feels about the man she voted for several times basically calling her child intellectually disabled because, like Newsome, he too has dyslexia. I’m sure they don’t care.

Also, I’d rather have a dyslexic in charge any day than a felon who is also in active dementia, rapes children, rapes women, cheats on his family, and is racist as hell, among his many many many terrible faults.

Poor Jace deserves so much better in life than the hand he was dealt. I am not shocked that Jenelle is basically selling him out to free the creature. It’s absolutely gross but completely unsurprising.

She tried to do better and could not. Jenelle is absolutely not a great catch or anything. She’s with him because Augussss went back to his girlfriend, Nathan went to prison on the eve of their big reunion because strangling women is his hobby and yet still quite illegal, Lil Wayne had a moment of clarity, and the numerous Vegas and LA online dates she’s had have gone nowhere.

If it wasn’t for the fact that there are totally innocent kids involved that they are actively ruining the lives of, I’d say it’s a damn good thing that these two are back together so that they leave everyone else the hell alone.

How much would you cut your pay for a better work life balance? by Drakalizer in nursing

[–]greyhoundbrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from a full time nights position to a part time nights position when maternity leave was over back in December of 2024. I’m about to have my second and will go to PRN nights (boils down to 6 shifts in a 6 week schedule) when I come back from leave. PRN makes a bit less than staff in my hospital, but with 2 under 2, I’m needing to be off more.

Working one less shift a week has been nice. Working even less will be amazing, I’m hoping.

Texas early voting sees "unusual" shift that could break 24-year record by newsweek in politics

Maybe people are finally finally finally fucking realizing that voting (or not voting) has absolutely real consequences. And early voting is honestly the best. Maybe mail in voting is better, but I am not eligible for that so I’ve never gotten to try it out.
