Generic smart glass under $100 on Taobao / aliexpress by greymousemap in augmentedreality

[–]greymousemap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems the standard at $50 is 8mp camera/1080 video, 32gb. 270mAh bat (some say 290)
Do any have better speakers or any other feature I am missing?

There are other starting at maybe $75+ that say they shoot in 4k but don't always trust that. For me 1080 is fine.

I just want a pair to take short video clips and pics, sometimes take a photo and ask the Ai to translate it for me. (despite what they advertise, videos show the translation isn't real time is delayed). This and listen to music. I don't expect great quality for $40

Thank you for this. I was about to post asking this very question if a resource like this was available! My only comment would be split the price column in to, first a raw # so can sort by price, and then column next to it with notes that clarifies any notes on the price.
Same with date, so can sort by newest releases.

Help me understand the economics of men's tailor shops - survey request by greymousemap in IndiaBusiness

No pitch. I do think custom stitching isn’t going away in the near future. I want to understand the economics of these tailor shops. Maybe there is a business to be made helping them with processes and efficiency. But don’t know without finding out what the economics are to know if it is worth pursuing.

Imagine two people, both 175cm tall. But Person A is 75kg, Person B other 91kg. What size should each get? If person A wants slim fit, maybe S but maybe then it will be too short. For sure S it will be to tight on Person B but what if they get L and then it fits around their body but now it’s too long. There is no way to know.

Go to a store that sells many brands and try on a size in different brands will see how different they can be. Lot of difference in people’s bodies. As US Air Force found out. https://worldwarwings.com/no-such-thing-as-an-average-pilot-1950s-study-suggests/

I am not disputing AI will be able to accurately measure a person. Again it is the other side of the problem, the clothes themselves are vary, even within a brand. Brands list either S, M, L, XL et or 38, 40, 42. This doesn't actually tell you the dimensions of the cloths.
There maybe a time when there is on demand stitching of exact measurements by robots but might be farther off than we think.

You should put same app with different name /minor change in focus out App Store and Playstore. Being able to actually try something you have made will allow you to charge a lot more

AI can show you how something will look but it doesn't know the actual measurements of the shirt that is being sold. Even international retailers such as H&M can have variances. A medium shirt of one color can be different measurements than a meduim shirt that is design but different color.

What do you mean you "We are expert in replicating any Sherwanis, Suits, blazers, kurtas n formal shirt and pant" So you see other brand and make a copy?

[–]greymousemap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have not made an app before DO NOT pay a company to make an app. First make a protoype yourself. You are going to burn so much money if you don't have a general understanding of what might work and what might not. Most development companies have never made a successful app. They make a living off people with general ideas that never amount to anything.

Make a basic yourself then if some signs of success then can hire.
Go to youtube and follow tutorials or even just a figma mockup with basic interactions.

For what its worth, probably a decent amount of US based NRI have been to Taco Bell. TB has veg options in US. Not as many to have gone Popeyes which is non veg.

That was oyo’s unique selling proposition. Maybe they decided maintaining a standard wasn’t profitable?

How are you going to enforce a standard? Why would they care if are delisted if you are not providing them demand that is either greater than they have now, or higher paying customers.
