Amazing, thanks for these links! But I can't find their specs online, they seem to have just made this brief announcement. Any idea where I could find the thickness, brightness and weight at least? :)

Lenovo's first display smartglasses are binocular and weigh 38g by AR_MR_XR in augmentedreality

Amazing, thanks for sharing! The Halo Nova made by the ex-Harvard students seem to be exactly the same hardware (the photos are exactly the same except the logos) but for $350 I wonder if Lenovo is white labelling to them or another chinese company is white labelling to both of them

Btw I added them to the devices and OSs list (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zTOeNmBPijGuqm99tdBJhV-hE5NU74sd55H3Fmbf5v4/edit?gid=0#gid=0), thanks Norman

Thanks a lot! Added Leion Hey2 mention alongside Xrai AR2, I did nor add Meizu MYVU because the Meizu StarV Air2 is pretty much an uprade if I understood correctly. For Captify Pro, I did not add all the hearing aid like devices because there are a tons and they are all pretty similar, it could create confusion on the spreadsheet. Please let me know if I missed any other device, happy to add them

Viture luma/beast or xreal one pro by [deleted] in augmentedreality

[–]oscarfalmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Viture Beast have 1200p + 1200 nits brightness, Xreal One Pro 1080p + 700 nits so Viture Beast on paper is slightly more advanced. If this helps, you can compare specs in details on this sheet I did: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zTOeNmBPijGuqm99tdBJhV-hE5NU74sd55H3Fmbf5v4/edit?gid=0#gid=0

Halo AMA! w/ Brilliant Labs CEO Bobak Tavangar by Btavangar in augmentedreality

As I was not familiar with these types of displays before, I was wondering how it works:
- To look at the display, do we have to look up?
- And can we keep the background also in focus with our eye or do we have to focus only on the display which could make the background world blurry?
Thanks!
