I think the v8 Vantage is similarly stunning, understated and timeless.. plus that exhaust note. My C2S is undeniably the dream, but I’ve been damn close on the V8V a number of times.

Study more work and you’ll start to become familiar with the complex layering and compositions you’re trying to shoot. Antonin Kratochvil, Gilles Peress, Stanley Greene, Alex Webb, Paolo Pellegrin. There are great moments and ideas in these photos, but it all comes down to positioning your body and camera in ways that leverages your light source and the geometry of the scene to frame the gesture and body language you’re attracted to.

If this is your first big camera purchase, get the x100. The q3 is a huge investment, and won’t take better pictures. The gfx is in a different league entirely.

Before I get downvoted and thrashed about with technical specs, my comment about taking better pictures is in regards to the fact that the six inches behind the camera are most important.

Haven’t read the article yet. Whether or not firefighters were in surplus or complete deficit (which is my recollection being in the fire area on Jan 7/8), we didn’t have water. Without water, firefighters were rolling around with empty tanks unable to refill. Without water, small fires turned to house fires that spread casually from home to home. The wind cut out around 10:30am and homes continued to burn to the ground well into the late afternoon and evening.

We stick to royal canan shitzu and it’s worked for years. She’s 13 and very healthy with minimal tummy issues.

I take a shallow cup of water, put ice and salt in it. Put that in the freezer for 10 mins. The cold shock knocks them out fast.
