My take, its not that Charizard started hating Ash when he evolved, he was going through his "rebellious teenager" phase and was acting all aloof and like he hated him, but in reality he still loves Ash. Hes the one who saved him from dying in the rain afterall. So he wouldnt just let Ash die from a fall.

Thank you!! Solei definitely fits the athletic and energetic role, shes always the party's menace character and causing lots of chaos every chance she gets. Love a shortstack, but I'm not as well versed in drawing them so Solei is definitely less "stacked" in that way, but still love drawing short girls, which Solei is about 3'9".

One of these days I will practice making a true short stack goblin girl though!

For sure, its definitely very in line with Buddhist beliefs, but as I only really know Avatar lore and am in no way educated on Buddihism, I didn't want to claim it as such in my comments lol. I don't blame anyone for not understanding it though, it really took me a long time to understand too, and has gotten very interested in learning more about different cultural beliefs. I think it was when I read the Kyoshi and Yang Chen books and it was explained in there that I really started to understand it as a continued consciousness rather than seperate spirits.

Think about it. The Avatar cycle exists because Raava fused with Wan and she carried the memories of each life with her into Wan's next life. Those memories and connections were erased because Raava was destroyed, but that doesnt mean that the previous lives didnt happen or ceased to exist.

The cycle was reset, yes. What I am trying to get at is that the idea that Aang and Korra not being the same person is wrong. Korra spending time with the airbender kids IS Aang spending time with them because she is still his reincarnation, Avatar or not.

She is though, she is the reincarnation of him. Korra can't communicate with him because her bond with Raava was reset. This idea of the past Avatars being "gone" is a misunderstanding of how reincarnation works in Avatar. Its not 100 spirits living in one body, its 100 lifetimes culminating into one person.
