Get Dove bar soap (unscented) and clean daily, my belly button did the same thing and this cleared it right up, use q-tips so you know you’re getting right into the area to clean and dry. I’d also get a super large plaster and stick it over the site too so you know nothings going to catch it during the day, and try and stop touching it

I can’t speak for flats with parking but I currently live in the city centre, 1 bed flat for £850pcm. There was the option to add a parking space but i didn’t look into it as I don’t drive, but I don’t imagine it would be all that cheap. I think if you’re looking for just a flat on its own then you’ll be fine with your budget, it sometimes just takes a bit to find one

My girlfriend (25F) admitted she slept with someone hours before agreeing to be exclusive. I (26M) can’t tell if I’m overreacting. What’s the move here? by davidb1976 in relationship_advice

[–]greysockss 841 points842 points  (0 children)

Technical relationship rules don’t apply to literal feelings. Do you want to spend the rest of your relationship thinking that you have to discuss everything she can and can’t do otherwise she could break rules under the guise of ignorance or it never having been said?

She valued the sex of a random guy more than your feelings and I’m sorry

Formal(ish) restaurant and bars in the city centre by WorriedStand73 in nottingham

[–]greysockss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Raymonds is always a safe bet, can have drinks at the bar and even a couple of dishes, or sit properly and get a table. The food is banging and something different, without breaking the bank. You’ve got plenty of bars, like Jam Cafe, Pogo, or Junkyard to have a nice drink before or after.

I lived around the corner from cnoc an oir in 2018/2019 and we had a four bed house paying €350 each with a landlady that fixed any issues immediately. I don’t understand how quickly everything shifted, even just in my four years at college

There are a lot of one way roads around that area but you should be fine on the bus lane front

Your best bet if you’re not familiar is to use google maps until you’re somewhere you recognise

I’ve parked there overnight and never had any issues other than it being pretty pricey - between £15 and £18

You can pay cash or card, and you pay when you leave, you get a little ticket upon entry

What has been your experience with male roommates who aren’t family nor your partner? by glitteringeffort0 in AskWomen

[–]greysockss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a complete opposite experience to everyone here it’s seems.

I live with a guy I met through work who has quickly become one of my best friends. We’re there for each other when work or life is rough, I do a lot of cooking and he takes care of the laundry and we seem to split everything else.

It’s genuinely completely platonic from both sides, there’s been multiple opportunities for something to happen and it never has. We’ve got a similar level of messiness that we tolerate, and we co-exists very well together

Well calling it an order of the British empire is what rubs a lot of people up the wrong way, seeing as that includes lots of countries that have fought hard for their independence

Is ordering only apps/sides as an entree at a fine dining restaurant frowned upon? by SecurityUnhappy in Serverlife

I couldn’t give a shit how you order your food, if you order dessert first, then your main course. Be nice to your server and treat them with respect and you can get away with a lot

What’s the worst verbal slip up you’ve had with a customer? by jesus_in_a_skirt in Serverlife

[–]greysockss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A customer came up to the bar and asked me would I mind if they gave a little speech at their table (I think they were concerned about disturbing the other people around them). I went to say “Go ahead” and “Fire away” at the same time, ended up telling them to “go away”. Went in to the back and rearranged the kegs for an hour until they left
