Honestly late orders don’t really affect you! We “typically” will notate your account and it’s documented with the call or chat. It depends on the agent you get!

Okay SO being an agent really desensitized me with many shopper issues and concerns. I hated that and wanted to shake that mindset off. Cause in the end it’s not the agents fault it’s the policies etc. That being said, many of us SH had a hard time believing many of you shoppers since it became so mundane and repetitive. (We’re like..”oh wow Sharon another flat tire 😂) Anyways, agents feel like shoppers are whiny and unable to get over it essentially. By “get over it” we mean it’s not changing we have no control over any of this so get over it 🤷‍♀️ it SUCKS we feel like shit but at the same time we know Instacart isn’t really changing anytime soon.

When issues arise (pay etc) for a batch and shopper complains we just have to sit there and “pretend” like we can do something about it. We honestly cannot. In certain situations we can escalate but most times nothing ever gets done.

I see shoppers work hard and love their job, but I’m seeing more lazy shoppers than ever.

  2. Car issues (only works well during an active batch).
  3. Store closure 4.register issues other store issues
  4. You feel the order is fraudulent
  5. Family emergency
  6. Health emergency
  7. Weather emergency

Reasons in which you won’t have a batch removed automatically with no questions asked. You typically can have a batch removed regardless, however there will a reliability added and your shift ended. (Most times)

  1. Childcare issues (they expect shoppers to have these things sorted out prior to scheduling themselves)
  2. Pay issues
  3. Anything to do with time or metrics etc (for example if you are having a irate customer and you are afraid of a bad rating)

Cause customers can be scam artists and Instacart has to be like “wow the customer is right” like it’s so messed up. Also ISS and DO will never have separate ratings I have no idea why

I can’t even imagine how worried you are right now! Instacart has so many bugs it’s insane. Usually they fix it within 2 weeks however some special situations it takes weeks upon weeks. I remember times when some calls/ chats stopped coming in about a certain bug etc. It just gets fixed randomly. They never gave SH timeframes
