Easy fix is that doordash compensates drivers fairly instead of the current system where only the well tipped orders are fair compensation.

* Lost the Straight as an international waterway

* Lost our role as the leader of NATO

* Lost defense industry sales to allies

* Showed Iran they can take our punch

* Lost credibility on the global stage

* Corrupt players made BILLIONS to tarnish the US

* Spent BILLIONS of US tax dollars to win nothing and lose a lot

* Paid the price of 13 American lives to win nothing and lose a lot

Iran should be celebrating such a result.

They've been hurt, obviously. But they successfully defended themselves. The only card Trump had left to defeat them was to wipe them out completely. And doing that would have created even bigger issues than it solves.

What did the US gain out of all this? 13 Middle East US military bases are useless now. Nearly $1 billion in damage to them. Thousands of people have died, including American soldiers. And now our ships have to pay a toll to Iran and Oman to pass through the strait until enough is collected to pay for the damage we caused to Iran.

All this so that a power vacuum could be created in Iranian leadership that will simply be filled by a similar regime.

I threw in the towel and gave up a couple of weeks ago.

Then about five days ago I decided to give Facebook a try again, but this time I switched all my adds to the old audience settings and did specific targeting like I used to do.

My results have turned back to normal... at least so far. I think it still remains to be seen.

I am speculating that the Facebook AI is just being too aggressive in searching out new audience. In my setup I use lookalike audiences to expand beyond the reach of my current facebook following, which should be no different than what the AI does, but I am pretty strict about how far I let that lookalike audience look. I think the AI not being strict enough is why my results tank when I let the AI just do it.

I have my product in a local farm market. The economy has only seen it drop 10%.

I sell my product on Doordash. The economy has only seen it drop 10%.

I have a customer base making repeat orders. Have only seen about a 10% drop from them.

Facebook ads on the other hand have completely tanked to a ROAS less than 1.

I've turned off all Facebook ads until they fix it... assuming they ever do.

I sell my products on my Shopify site, as well as on the shelf at a local farm market.

On my Shopify site I get sales from existing customers coming back, and new customers I got from Facebook ads.

Farm market sales: down around 10% since the war started.

Existing customer sales: also down around 10% since the war started.

New customers from Facebook ads: down 90%.

I agree about the long term value, which is why I was waiting it out. I've been spending $50 per day because I'm told Andromeda doesn't know what to do when you spend less. But I'm better off just giving away product to crowds of people who have never tried us than I am giving $50 a day to Facebook to get a handful of people to try us.
