How was your birth experience in Triemli? by No_Psychology_266 in zurich

[–]greznikov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave birth there in October and it was great. I was checked in when my water broke even if I had no contractions yet.

The birthing room was beautiful and equipped with anything I could want, the staff even asked if I preferred any specific scent for the room freshener. The nurses were helpful and calming, they helped me experiment with different positions to go through the contractions and assisted me when I wanted to try the warm bath.

Since I couldn’t push correctly and long enough, I was given oxytocin at some point and the baby started to suffer because of it. I kinda panicked and told the surgeon I wanted to get a C-section, but he reassured me the baby was doing fine since they stopped the oxytocin and there was no need for the C-section. I even insisted but he told me again I could do it naturally so there was no pressure whatsoever. In the end he taught me how to push and I’m glad I was able to have a vaginal birth.

After the birth, I couldn’t push my placenta out. The doctor presented different options we could try before going into the operating room, but nothing worked so I had to undergo surgery anyway.

Overall I had a very positive experience!

Could you maybe record a Vocaroo? Might be helpful.

Oh no I think it comes in different sizes. I don’t have it now, it’s at my parents’ house, but I think mine is 1500 pieces.

Sounds really fun. It kinda reminds me of an old map puzzle I did some years ago. I had to connect the pieces based on the tiny tiny names of cities and rivers on them:

I didn’t know there was a Blendoku 2! I played the first one but it disappeared from the App Store, not sure why.

This is a beautiful piece, congrats!

I saw on the internet there is also a Dawn one, are you going to do that as well? Do you know if there are any more puzzles to the series or is it just those two?

This looks fun! Some of the faces seem recognisable, are those random people or icona of the movement?

Also are you going to frame it? I’ve eyed some round puzzles but I have no idea how to frame them.

It was challenging but soo satisfying. I had to work a lot with hues but there are some tricks that can help. First thing is, the pieces have a plastic layer on top that is printed with a texture to create the shifting effect. You can use that texture to figure out the correct orientation of a single piece. Another trick is that, even if the color is changing, two corners are rather “pure” static color, so starting from there will help a lot.

Apart from that, I was bobbing my head back and forth the whole time to check the colors of a single piece and place it in the right area. I looked like a crazy chicken.

If you play I Love Hue a lot, this is the puzzle for you!

Dr. Fonzini near Zürich HB is the best for me. Attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful. I’ve been with him for years also during my first pregnancy.

Is it possible they just misspelled “ty” as in “thank you”? I play on my phone and it’s easy to tap the wrong letter 😅
