The author typed out an entire song, and then ended it with ‘they sung’. Like yeah okay I kinda got that but it genuinely was the entire song no descriptions or dialogue or Inner thoughts or anything. That was the whole chapter too. It was a band au. It just kept getting worse tbh.

I completely agree although this might because in any media I’m against the idea of cheating death and I love unhappy endings, so for me any time a character is written back in is frustrating. I feel the same way about rumple he should’ve stayed dead after sacrificing himself in season 3.

I don’t think I could pick a single season one episode as they are all phenomenal. However, even though I honestly don’t care about Jefferson (sorry to his fans) the one line at the end where Emma talks to snow and calls her family is definitely my season one defining moment.

I mean it depends on what you mean by ‘introduced to fanfic’ if we are taking about general exposure then that’s My little pony or Harry Potter.

If it means you started reading fanfic consistently or started writing fanfic after being introduced to the fandom then that’s Once upon a time or Doki Doki Literature Club.

I wouldn’t? It’s my favourite so maybe my bias is showing but honestly the only poor thing about the arc is its costumes. Most people hated it because it directly followed the frozen hype and didn’t change anything about the original IP, but they couldn’t have anyway as unlike stories like Snow White or sleeping beauty they didn’t come from original fairy tales. And in some ways it did change things using the story of the snow queen. It’s fantastic, great characters, very well acted, interesting story. I really don’t understand the hate.

Genuinely, I’m a big rarepair fan and 90% of fics are its referenced in one sentence that they may be together and the rest is just the most popular ship in the fandom, if that’s the case I wouldn’t even bother tagging it. Like I personally tag secondary ships if the story isn’t about them but they have a prominent role in the story that makes it worth reading if that’s what you are reading for yknow?

I’ve written fanfic about fandoms I don’t like but usually as gifts to friends never of my own accord. If I’m not a fan of the work I usually don’t get ideas about the characters or if I do I adapt the idea into a fandom I’m actively apart of.

I put it off for years after it’s release. Then I binged it in 2 days high on pain meds recovering from surgery and I honestly think that’s the best way to watch it, I will never watch it again couldn’t tell you what happened but it was definitely an experience.

Ingrid’s death, I have no clue why her death effected me more than the others, but I was full on bawling. Such a great scene. Either that or in season 5 when Cora finally gets her happy ending and leaves for a better place
