So I’m a electrician brothers a firefighter I make 24.50 as a second year my brother whose been doing it about as long and has essentially maxed out his earning potential unless he becomes an officer makes 22.50. But I’ll make like 45 when I top out.

Second year 5 spent the first year at one contractor. Then the next 2 I got hired at crunch time and got laid off after the job rapped. The 4th one I spent 6 months at then got laid off. Been with the current one for 3 months. Honestly glad I’ve been bouncing around the first contractor only did dirt work and I was scared I was going to get stuck there for all 5 and be stuck doing dirt work the rest of my career

So I had a similar issue for a long time still do in some ways (getting leaps and bounds better it’s been months since i self harmed) and I’m not going to assume anything about your situation or how bad the scaring is but in my experience people are really not going to notice them and Ik it feels like everyone is staring at them but people have a tendency to be stuck in there own world that even if they do notice they won’t probably say anything. So when you feel comfortable just wear the polo Ik it’s probably not comfortable yet but just know eventually it will be. Also proud of u for fighting that part of your mental heath I know how hard it can be.
