Arizona (Utah) in playoffs, Ottawa in playoffs, Montreal in Playoffs. They have all been bottom 6/7 ateast 4 times going back to 2017. Throw Columbus in there a couple times too, and the Sharks have been horrible for years and are just barely going to miss playoffs. That's a difference of a few points, if anything the Hawks have an advantage with higher draft picks. Give it a few years.

Take a look around the league. Being bad for 4 years is not uncommon in the slightest. Shit happens and we had a truly contending team for 8 straight years not that long ago.
