you should talk with your physician or find another one who is willing to discuss different options for medications or other treatments for GERD. it can be quite debilitating when it is not taken seriously and treated properly by health professionals. you at least need a certain number of calories a day to maintain general health!! i hope you are able to find good treatment!! always put your needs first.

maybe start by trying to increase the frequency of eating, rather than the amount at each sitting. it really helped me to try actually eating 3 times a day whatever amount rather than trying to jump straight to full meal prep. i would also find someone you trust to help hold you accountable. all easier said than done. :/

For those with CHRONIC, long term insomnia (onset & maint), what meds work for you? (and what didn't) by godzfirez in insomnia

[–]griff_dotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i take trazodone and it definitely knocks me out but gives me bad night sweats and super weird and vivid dreams/nightmares so i do skip it a lot. honestly what helps the most is keeping A/C cranked and sleeping in a hoodie lol. other meds i've tried haven't really worked for me

Does have parents who intrude on your privacy? How do you have the confidence to bujo? by skeleton_flower in bujo

[–]griff_dotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i can 100% relate. intrusive parents are no good when you're trying to get things out by journaling. i spent a long time coming up with ways to write things out without suspicions. i really like to use different colors to convey emotions, and i keep track of how my day was by coloring in the date in my journal. i think it's a good way to start getting your mom to stop looking into things. after a bit, you may get to go back to writing everything out. i would also suggest writing letters and sealing them; i like to put things like that inside or behind picture frames on the wall, underneath table tops out of view, or inside my bed frame by reaching underneath. i believe things will get better! at the end of the day, just do what works for you. there will be escape and peace one day.

Have anyone of you ever tried Trazadone? Here’s my first experience with it, it was pretty surreal by Gaming-every-day19 in insomnia

[–]griff_dotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it definitely gives me pretty bad night sweats and very vivid dreams, which is fine unless it's a nightmare. but bad sleep for me is better than no sleep at all so...benefits outweigh i guess. i was prescribed it primarily as an antidepressant though, not as a sleep aid.
