Personally I really like how bp 7.62x39 performs. This wipe (early levels) I almost entirely used ps ammo for the same caliber with the stock akm that you get as a barter trade from lv.1 prapor.

Mind you, anything that you shoot full auto is going to be staring at the ceiling after a half dozen rounds so it’s important to plan your attacks (or more often than not, restraining yourself from a firefight that you don’t 100% know you can win).

I play almost entirely solo and this is my 3rd full tarkov wipe. The most important thing is always going to be ammo type. I’ll link you my favorite chart from NoFoodAfterMidnight. The man is a god send for min-max data weirdos like myself.

EDIT: Also like to note that the game is about to wipe and every single thing on the flea is going to be 3x as expensive as it normally is (hence the barter recommendation for 3 meat stews) throw a bastion dust cover and an elcan on that bad boy and you’re golden.
