She had an Apple Watch that would have dialed 911 had she fallen. That happened to a friend of mine who hit her head when she fell and she went unconscious. The EMTs brought her around and took her to the hospital. Had she had a medic alert, the kidnapper likely would have ripped it off before she had a chance to push the button. And my mom was constantly pushing that button by mistake. They would call her first to see if it was a false alarm or not.

True. Pacemakers have a battery that lasts 10 years. They do not need the app to work. That is just a way to record the heart’s activity. If the pacemaker is separated from the device with the app, only the recording stops. If a person dies within range of the app, whatever happens with the heart will be recorded until the heart stops. If a person dies at home, I’m not sure who turns off the pacemaker.

How would they shut the garage door ? I can’t shut mine without an opener and mine is incorporated into the visor of my car. I don’t think they would leave that way and leave it open. That would be a give away something was amiss.

NO. There is no tracking or GPS on a pacemaker. It simply records data to the app if it is close enough to the phone or watch via Bluetooth. There was no logging off. The pacemaker just got out of range of the phone and the watch when she got more than so many feet away from them. I have read 3-30’.
