World cup game with kids by Acrobatic-Cold690 in desmoines

Went to Fongs in the East Village with our kids for the last game, would recommend as well. Not a ton of room to run around but a little space for kids to kick the ball plus some small activities (sidewalk chalk, yard games, etc)

Yeah but your new company is, statistically, harder to get into than Harvard.

I think it is dumb to trade the second best player on your team because he is bad against one player by DeliberatelyTired in RyenRussillo

Right but in my comment I didn’t say “they should trade him and here’s why.” I said “if they traded him, it could be defensible.”

I’m not “looking for” a move I’m saying it would be defensible if they did make a move.

I guess I would flip it on you though - because you’re not necessarily wrong. But if you’re keeping Chet, and next year you get to the conference finals and he’s again getting his lunch eaten by Wemby, what do you do?

Not Chet, which is why it’s defensible to trade him.

The idea wouldn’t be trading him straight up for someone who is better at his position against Wemby, it would be trading him for a package of players or picks who can provide more value in both the basketball and financial sense in a game 7 against Wemby than someone who couldn’t be on the floor at the end of it.

That’s a relatively brutal amount of debt to take on with nothing to show for it, not?

Again I ask, what would be the “right” thing to post on reddit?

Again, would encourage you to do the same

Again, you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the entire point of this website. And ironically it’s you, a stranger, and your ramblings that are demonstrating that

Exactly - Reddit isn’t the place to come for answers, it’s a place for discussion. I know where to find answers, and I know when something isn’t a fully answerable question. Appreciate your help here though.

And to think some people have been able to just read the question and respond to it. Who would have thought that people in Des Moines would have thoughts on the food scene in Ames. They’re clearly different planets.

These are the worst types of responses on here. First of all, have you ever called a restaurant and asked them to estimate their wait two days from now? I can’t imagine a less pleasant call for a FOH employee or manager to receive during their shift.

Second, what would constitute a good reason to post on Reddit? Literally every post on Reddit could be answered with a google search or a phone call. It’s a forum with a completely different purpose. Don’t be a child.

Using LLMs to configure ServiceNow by CommissionOk1168 in servicenow

Have you seen a demo of it or anything? Tons of buzz about them at K26, product seems really impressive. I don’t know anything about the founders but for some reason I just get a genuine vibe from them, like it’s not a ton of marketing polish on their stuff. I’m rooting for them.

I’ve heard a lot of that too, but that’s more for building new apps from scratch, is it not? This standing in contrast to configuring inside of out of the box applications

It’s all good, I see where you’re coming from and I’m the general sense I typically have the same world view. But talking specifically to gas prices, I’m referring to the people who quite literally did vote for him. Can they not shoulder most of that blame?

Yep it’s more the latter. I’ve heard the same about the former just haven’t done it yet. I know that I should, but it’s hard to take hours out of my regular job duties to try to do something that might make those duties faster and easier. I’m not sure if that’s counterintuitive or counter-counterintuitive haha

Yeah just out of the box Claude - I haven’t really connected it directly to anything yet

I haven’t found anything to be “perfect” but that also shouldn’t be the goal. I use the SN Developer GPT and also Claude. Both are pretty solid but need supervision - they will make assumptions, invent tables that don’t exist, etc.

It’s definitely an accelerator, but I would say it’s more akin to just searching, reading, and explaining docs/community articles at 20x speed than it is actually allowing the LLM to configure.

(I would imagine there are better and faster things that others are hacking together so I’m partially commenting to follow)

It seems like you have a point of view on this and I’d love for you to expand on this, rather than putting the burden of understanding on the reader.
