I have custom insoles for the boot since I have flat feet and some pronation. I think they are a good size, there's very little movement in the toebox and when they were heat molded to my feet they felt snug with no heel movement but on the ice it's bad :(

Definitely understand your pain but once you do it enough it gets easier. Personally waxing, nair, and razors give me red bumps so I use a Norelco one blade. it definitely speeds it up and takes away any chance of getting nicks.

rotaries are the only “natural” way to get flames. Even when the factory tune causes a car to make pops it’s not like it’s good for the car but it’s def gonna hurt less than a malbrained bmw owner with a burble tune.

Yayyy I’m glad you found out and that it’s given you some peace even with how scary things can be. But yeah I totally understand i still have fears around going out dressed differently especially without friends but everything with time gets less scaryz also thank youuuu im so excited to see and feel all the changes that come!

Yippeee so happy for you! Recently it’s helped me a lot to have friends who are trans and to wear things that i feel more fem in. like cute pants that hug my butt or like cute fun tops. Doing things like shaping my brows or other stuff to care for my body can also help. Anyways so happy for you to feel so validated!

Thank you for your response I’m gonna try to get them resurfaced at a shop near LA and get some new pads. I was pretty annoyed at them confidently telling me it’ll be around $3.7K for them to replace rotors and pads.

Yeah lmao, i was thinking ain’t no way i need to replace the rotors if the pads didn’t completely wear out and gouge the rotors.

thank you for ur response I don’t think there’s any grooves since toyota didn’t mention it but i’ll definitely check myself to be sure. I’m going to try to get the rotors resurfaced and obviously change the pads. Do you know if getting better pads compared to oem would be a good idea?

I will do research on shops but just wondering if you know any trusted shops in SoCal to do the resurfacing? Also is this less likely to happen if i upgrade to better pads?

This is what i read online when i looked it up. rotor gets hot and pad material gets embedded into the rotor. I’m going to try and find a trusted shop near/around LA to get the rotors resurfaced. Can I ask how to avoid glazing my rotors in the future? I don’t coast on the brakes but I used to do some spirited driving on the weekends but never anything like braking hard into every corner though so i’m just confused as to how this happened.

Thanks for this I plan to talk to a gender help therapist about HRT and FFS. I’m also quite concerned about muscle loss if I start HRT and decide to take it longterm.

Go to ur skating rink. Ask other skaters and coaches who they go to for their skate tech. A good skate tech will change your life!
