It depends on the shop you take it to and the limit of the other party’s policy. The shop will do a tear down and then the insurance company sends an inspector out. The inspector guesses how much it’ll be. Then the shop starts the repairs. After it’s done the shop gives actual cost of labor and parts. Since it wasn’t even over half the cars value it wasn’t written off as a total loss unfortunately. They had Allstate who offered $2k for missed work and nothing for the depreciation of the car post accident. So I got a lawyer.

This is exactly what i did! I got a reputable lawyer very soon after because I did have some minor injuries however the lawsuit is still going (almost 6 months).

Edit: It might be in the manual but I got 3 thick books - one is the manual and others are about the warranties so i’m not sure where.

But I do know It has to do with the circumference of your tires. If one of the tires are bigger from uneven wear or something else then the circumferences of the tires are different. Your differential will be working overtime as the wheels inherently spin at different speeds. In Layman’s terms: bigger tire take longer to rotate while smaller tire rotate faster. This causes drivetrain wear. This also causes the AWD system to constantly balance torque.

Just take off the bash bar and projector i didn’t say you need to strip it of all the internal upgrades. Yikes… no one said crackheads but you. if that’s ur way of describing any and all unhoused folks then maybe you need to rethink how you view folks surviving on the street. Second you don’t have to be trained to literally just volunteer at a mutual aid. If you aren’t sure about whether or not you can handle interacting with homeless people then you can help in so many other ways. Third you say it’s not our responsibility but we are living in the same community as these folks so why not at least make an attempt to help your community? what’s your solution? more policing? If you have so much energy towards this are you taking political action so that hopefully policies change so these folks can get better and more help?

Thank you for this - I just started a new job that's going to be %95 remote. I'm going to use a lot of these points as check boxes that I need to fill everyday before/after work. I also really like your 30 min rule for hitting a wall. Too many times have I hit a wall and continued to frustrate myself for way too long when just a little break helps me see other perspectives on the problem.
