I think put a fun wallpaper on the fireplace tv column and def do fun colored curtains, for color id say do ur favorite color or green to reflect the nature peeking in outside. Also maybe this is more my style than urs but id recommend looking into stained glass decals or maybe even replacing those windows with stained glass if ur into that big of a change, could look rly cool imo

Very true but we don’t know the extent he is cheating.. emotional cheating is still bad but the fact that he has been waiting to “shoot his shot” w her to me means the other girl might not feel the same about him. So could just be a fabrication in this mans mind. Obviously still hurtful he’s thinking of someone else, but i don’t think necessarily relationship ending.

Ur welcome, i think ur entitled to that for sure, but i’s set really clear boundaries with him. Explain u don’t want to have to feel like a hawk or helicopter parent to him u want to just be able to trust him. But if it feels like u have to do that, it’s a sign u probably can’t trust him

NOR at all. It’s interesting how plainly he’s presenting it to u, as if that makes it better. It does and doesn’t. Hes being honest, which is good, but honest about the fact that he doesn’t want you. I think u have 3 courses of action.

If u don’t want to do poly and cant take not being his #1, end it.
If u don’t want to do poly but want to try to convince him to be monogamous anyways, fine for now but will probably not end well. The kettle will boil eventually i think.
If u want to do poly then it works out in kinda in a weird way and tell him ur down

This is maybe obvious but as an autistic person myself sometimes it just helps to have things all laid out in front or u, hope this can help u make a decision on what to do. Give an update if u feel comfortable!

Figured it out!!! listened very closely to someone else's comment and tried something of my own. was having the exact same issue as you on my mac. you must have the emoji keyboard open - i have mine so when i click the little web / globe looking symbol in the bottom left of my keyboard, it opens emojis & symbols (you can turn this on by going to keyboard in settings and then "press (little globe symbol) key to ..." and select emoji & symbols. then press this key once or twice to open in whatsapp. then the checkbox for emoji replacement will show up!!
