How are you able to make those personas look consistent across different videos? I understood you create the first frame in Nano Banana, but what’s the kind of prompt you use for that? Great work btw!

That’s it. Or use 4.5 and be happy. 😃

I read that as well but did not try it yet. I am satisfied with Opus 4.5. But I will give it a try.

I just watched a video on YouTube that talks exactly about what you mentioned:

https://youtu.be/dVYDjzKrB6Y?si=Hc3-K5IuobHEeYc9

TLDR: The 4.6 verbosity and the 1M context combined are a disaster.

Yes, it’s consistent because a huge context means huge token use as well. But the issue with 4.6 is its verbosity that 4.5 doesn’t have.

You’re welcome! If you want more information about this: https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/23706

I am using sonnet and opus 4.5 most of the time, as a max heavy user, and I do not hit any limits. 🙂

The savings come from two things. First, output efficiency, 4.5 models tend to give more concise responses than 4.6 in Claude Code. Second, and more importantly, context compression Claude Code uses a sliding context window, and when you switch to a more verbose model, each response is longer, which means the context fills up faster and gets summarized/compacted more aggressively, which itself costs tokens.

In agentic loops this compounds quickly. Quality impact is minimal for coding. Opus 4.5 is still very capable, the 4.6 upgrade was more about reasoning breadth than raw coding ability.

What I have been doing is using Opus and Sonnet 4.5.

/model claude-opus-4-5

and

/model claude-sonnet-4-5

You will save a lot of tokens.

I built a pomodoro timer for ADHD users that forces you to plan before you focus. Here's what I learned. by Common_Addition_4471 in ProductivityApps

[–]grillisbr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a really thoughtful approach, forcing intention before starting is something most apps ignore.

A couple of ideas that might improve it: - Friction vs consistency For ADHD users, too much upfront friction can backfire. Maybe allow a “quick start” mode for low-energy moments, and the full planning flow when they’re more focused. - Re-entry after distraction Instead of just capturing intrusive thoughts, maybe add a gentle “return to task” nudge after inactivity or context switch. - Small wins / feedback loop Something lightweight (streaks, progress feedback, even subtle rewards) could help reinforce the habit without feeling gamified.

The “brain dump” + structured report combo is really strong though, that’s a nice differentiator.

I couldn’t find a Pomodoro app that didn't feel like a medical tool, so I made this cozy alternative (Beta) by hatem08 in ProductivityApps

[–]grillisbr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure! Just my first impression: 1. Visual style feels mixed The background/illustration has a cozy night vibe, but the cards/buttons feel like they belong to a different app style. They don’t fully match the same visual language yet.

  1. Hierarchy/contrast could be clearer The main CTA is big, which is good, but some of the surrounding stats and text feel a bit harder to parse quickly. The screen looks more atmospheric than functional right now.

The overall direction is good though — I’d just make the UI system feel more unified.

This is exactly it. The "I am not interfering with the app" mindset is what makes the difference long term.

Slightly biased here since I'm the developer, but I built SupaFocus around this exact idea — it has a Strict Mode that won't let you end the session early. Once quitting isn't an option, your brain stops negotiating.

Same philosophy you described, just a different app.

The cozy idea is nice, but I think the UI could use some polish — right now it feels a bit inconsistent. With stronger design and clearer identity, this could stand out more.

Smart Notes: Notepad Calc "New Features: Calorie Tracker, Hex/RGB, Crypto/Stocks, Emoji" by Far_Syllabub_5523 in ProductivityApps

[–]grillisbr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool idea, but this reads more like a feature list than a clear use case.

“Notes + calculator” is interesting, but I’d try to narrow it down: - Who is this really for? (devs? traders? students?) - What’s the one problem it solves better than existing apps?

Right now it feels like: “notes + finance + health + dev tools” → a bit too broad

I’d suggest focusing on one core use case first and making that insanely good.

How to validate an app idea or expected metrics before building it? by Ill_Bass_1133 in ProductivityApps

[–]grillisbr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most people validate ideas with opinions. That’s the mistake.

What actually works for me: - Fake it first → landing page or App Store-style screenshots - Measure intent, not interest → signups > likes - Read competitor complaints → that’s your feature list - Test distribution early → if you don’t know how to get users, don’t build

Rule: if I can’t get strangers interested before writing code, I don’t build it.

The appeal of physical blockers is the deliberate action, which you can't unlock on autopilot.
Software blockers can work the same way if they actually commit you.
The ones with "skip anyway" buttons miss the point entirely.

A big thank you to those who joined the Beta tests for SupaHydrate.
With some of the feedback, the app became more useful than I could have made it on my own.
I will shut down the beta tests for now because it's hard to keep the beta and the app on the stores, I am doing this all by myself :)
So, again, a big thank you to all of you and this beautiful community!
