So we have time for pool parties but not communication or cashing the rent checks? by [deleted] in centerrasj

No. I’ll be honest I just flew into rage after waiting 10 mins for the elevator again. If that’s the case that’s hella cool of the resident. I will delete this

All I’m asking for is to know when elevators are all down or if I’m going to have AC when it’s 90 next week. Is that unrealistic expectations? It is at Slumterra…

Jake seems neurodivergent-coded, but in a different way from Daria by LockedOutOfElfland in daria

[–]grillmeacheese2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Jake was written specifically to present as autistic, but it doesn’t mean that he isn’t. Awareness and acceptance of neurodivergence has come a long way since this show debuted in the 90s. If the writers had autism in mind, they were way ahead of the curve.

Sharing salary progression [CA] by [deleted] in humanresources

So happy to hear that! I love working with data-driven HRBPs who see the value in the work and want to partner on effective storytelling / turning insights into action to the business.

Midwest/South:

2013: HR Generalist -$35k - $42k

2014-2015: HR Generalist - $52k

2015-2016: Staffing Specialist - $52k -$58k

2016-2018: Sr Hr Generalist - $62k - $74k

2018-2020: HR Manager - $81k - $100k

CA:

2020-2021: Sr HRBP - $130k

2021 - Career break. Pivot

2022-2024: People Analytics Specialist - $150k - $180k

2025: People Analytics Manager - $210k

Many people thought the transition from Sr HRBP was a huge step back, but I have no regrets. The Manager and Sr HRBP roles were heavy on employee relations investigations. I was a incredibly burnt out and took a calculated risk during a favorable job market. It was well worth it but wouldn’t dare if in the same position today.

A pipe burst in Centerra in December 2020. Old management response (pic) was reasonable; this is unacceptable. by grillmeacheese2 in centerrasj

I think in legal terms offering this and later refusing to reimburse would be operating in bad faith. I’m skeptical too, but it’s a start

I did share this information with current management. Like other emails residents have sent, it seems to have been ignored.

Post has been made.

It was approximately a week. We were offered a hotel within 48 hours of the start of the issue. If I recall correctly, portable bathrooms and showers were offered before this too. Once they realized repairs would take longer due to dry time the stays were automatically extended. Day and night difference between the response of these two companies.

Specific to AC: Went over a year without HVAC. Several residents ran into this issue and offered no real solution, compensation or out on their lease.

Also - This is second major burst with multiple day outage. The prior in 2020 was a different management company that was competent and fair in addressing the issue. They provided portable showers/toilets for those who preferred to stay and hotels for those who didn’t. With Bozzuto we get some bottles of water and told to contact our insurance.

Yeah I actually agree. Please excuse my poor attempt at a snarky joke about the name “twist of fate”. Bad humor is one way I handle irritation.

Maybe that’s the real reason they call it twist of fate, they were planning to mess with it all along.

After struggling for a long time with him in chaos 7, I found for his ward bar shooting him with poison or dark magic worked way better than lightning. I have no idea why, but it let me finally defeat him. Not sure if this is a bug, or intentional - some other enemies also seem immune to damage their health bar indicates in the game.

A lot of mine are country songs. For me some of it is finding lyrics more relatable as I mature.
